Well hello.
Having given up the urge to kill tigers, lions, gladiators, angry water voles and rollies - I've been papping away on an Evod BCC with an eGo twist for some seven weeks now.
Really enjoying the new life and have no desire to go back to the world of Cutters Cheese. I've been considering upgrading for a few weeks now and noticed this drawtube smart thingamajig whilst perusing this rather lovely forum......
Being new to such things, any advice would be welcome; is it worth an inexperienced tooter getting such a thing and, if so, what other kit would be required? (eg, would an Evod sit on one of these things).
Any help would be grand!

Hello to you Spartacus. It's a great all Mechanical mod the Drawtube . . . takes 3 sizes of battery, so along with the device you'll also need batteries and a charger. Standard 510 fitting, so you can use it with all our gear, other than things that require Ego threading, but adapters can be easily picked up. I'd highly recommend one if you fancy the investment and upgrading to something very straightforward and versatile to use.

What type of atomiser/tank type would be recommended? I guess it'd be easier to try one that was as straightforward as possible to begin with. Not sure if I'm ready for the world of wicking yet.......

Hello Spartacus and Mini novas are always a decent bet. I hear good things about the new Kanger Protank, too.

Hi Spartacus Evods are great and will work well on it, especially if you have 1.8ohm heads. If you want something that holds more juice you could try the Kanger ProTank, Vapeonly BCC, Vivi-Nova etc If you want something the same diameter as the mod (for aesthetics) and you don't mind having a bash at making your own coil with mesh wick, the RSST Genesis Style atty seems like a good affordable one

Thanks for this peeps. will bite the bullet.....
Will I need to get an adapter for a Kanger, nova etc? Might hold off for a wee bit before looking at something like an RSST

Not sure if I'm ready for the world of wicking yet....... I'd suggest a Cartomiser Tank of some description Spartacus. The Dual Coil Tanks have been around for a little while, but on an all mechanical mod they'd give you a good vape. www.vapeescape.co.uk/35mm-dc-tank-kit~337www.vapeescape.co.uk/pre-punched-35mm-dc-cartomisers~338The Kanger Protank would perhaps be worth considering, the reviews so far seem very positive on it, although you would need an adapter as well for that. www.vapeescape.co.uk/kanger-protank~511

Might hold off for a wee bit before looking at something like an RSST I'm in a similar boat I've got evods and a Kanger Protank (want to try the vapeonly BCC too) , never had a genesis style atty but I'm very tempted, I've re-wicked my evods with great success so it can't be that hard right? I think if the group buy goes ahead I'm going to pick up an RSST off EcigWizard. here's a review of them and here's a piccy of a Drawtube Smart mod with an RSST on top they've both been polised to a shine in this pic, I prefer the way they come from the factory tbh (brushed stainless steel) but it gives you an idea
