I have re-wicked them, cleaned them and now they have stopped working all together. Do I need to replace the whole item?

What do you have at the moment? (other than T2)

I can recommend an evod clearomiser....they are brilliant.

or a Vision V3 or mini vivi nova with a "plinth".

personally, an evod would be my choice. Kanger T2 and T3 are tricky beasts with regard to leaking.
