Steeping / flavours

Hi all!

I'm still on the hunt for a really good all day Vape.

Not a big fan of tobacco flavours or anything too sweet. .. yet fruit flavours tend to get a little boring lol (what the hell do I want??!!)

The problem is I order juices from various vendors and I never know if I should steep them first? (As some websites don't say)

For example I ordered toffee apple from vape escape and it started off ok but then I left it in a cupboard to steep thinking it would improve the flavour but it just tastes worse, no Apple no toffee just an odd bland slightly sweet taste? ?

This has happened to a couple of juices now, and to steep then all I do is take the cap off and leave them, sometimes giving a good shake.

If I'm honest nearly all flavours I have tried start off good then go down hill after a couple of vapes.

Doesn't matter what tank I have on top of my vamo or what settings I use, maybe this is normal?

Anyway it still beats smoking! Oh and I've finally come off the stinkies 2nd day now and no problems

A menthol is usually a good vape for when you are struggling to taste stuff. I find they taste the same nomatter what.
Sometimes juice tastes average to me so i vape some eucalyptus that i made and that does the job for me aswell as opening up my airwaves lol

I was the same.I love GVC,but i needed another flavour.So i settled for Swedish fish.I then took a punt on xpme Cherry frost from Alba.To cut a long tale short,i ended up mixing 50/50 Swedish Fish and Cherry Frost.its an amazing vape,nice clean fruity taste with the cooloing of Menthol.I am now on the hunt for a Menthol Spearmint juice.

I forgot to mention I have some menthol mixed with fruit which always has flavour but menthol all day isn't really for me.

As I just created this thread the postman came and delivered some juice from alba, got some caramel candy which actually tastes pretty good! Not too sweet but I wouldn't mind mixing it with something as it sure is strong but other than chocolate I have no idea what to mix with it...or if that's a wise thing to do?

I got some doc popper too which isn't too bad, I might look into the drink flavour juices,

I don't steep anything. I've found most of my "posh" e-liquids just get worse over time. If they are freshly made by someone else, I'll give them a few days in the bottle before vaping. From then on, the top stays firmly ON. Presumably it's a matter of taste, but if you feel your juices are going downhill, try leaving them be.

I mix my own Vanilla custard, I have found that mixing with as much VG as I can and adding Dulce De Leche, Ethol maltol and vanilla to Capella VC, it is a smooth full flavoured taste and I can vape it constantly, it is the only juice I never tire of and it does not seem to lose it's taste after vaping for a while.

I've actually just ordered a 10ml bottle of grants vanilla custard to try (hoping it's not too sweet! ) and lives up to the hype.

This has still been the easiest way to quit so far (vaping for 6ish weeks but only quit the stinkies a few days ago).

Thanks everyone for the advice so far, unfortunately I'm not gonna taste anything for a while as I have a terrible stupid cold so I'm vaping my worst juices as I can't taste anything all

I might pick up a dripping atty next payday for home use or an evod, I need to do a little research. ...

I don't think i have time for mixing my own juice. As for steeping, think I'm just gonna try each juice as it arrives and go with it.

Anyway. .. Sorry for waffling on... off to the juice reviews for a browse. .. got my eye on a juice or 10i want to try next

Well, everyone has to try GVC.

How about coffee?

Try juices when they arrive, but don't judge them until they've had a chance to steep.

Switching between juices often helps.

And this may sound strange, but juices taste different if you hold your tongue differently, particularly if you've burnt the ones off the top of your tongue by smoking. Try curling your tongue up as you vape; and if you like bitter, curl to one side.

I've previously stated I don't like tobacco flavours however I think I might try black cat and RY4.

I've realised quite a few juices don't taste as described, not a bad thing in some cases.

I've decided next payday I'm gonna try an evod, then do a taste test between that, the iclear30 and the vivi nova and stick to whichever one is best
