I was so excited and keen I couldn't wait to give it a go  .....the next thing I knew  ..and then  ......but it's all good now got some nice cherry menthol .. .......this group is the bees knees .

i have man flu at the moment so i took a 10ml bottle which was half full of my own blueberry and chucked a load of menthol crystals in it , put the bottle in warm water to disolve the menthol and topped my tank up , holy s@?; it nearly blew my eyeballs out but my nostrils are clear , the mrs says her eyes are stinging lol

Please be careful with the menthol crystals, they are not harmless. Wear gloves when handling the crystals or the menthol concentrate. Avoid contact with your eyes at all costs.

I dissolve 10g crystals in 10ml PG (or ethanol > 94%) and use that as a concentrate. Use 1% (mild) to 5% (blow your head off) in the liquid.

It is great with some strawberry!

All you need is some PG or VG and flavouring (plus some de-ionised water for diluting 100% VG if that's what you're using). Then use a calculator such as ejuicemeup or this one to determine quantities

Don't worry, we'll sort this out.

To make the juice, you are going to need either menthol flavouring (like all the other flavourings you can buy - Capella, Flavourart, cupcakeworld etc.) OR make some of your own concentrate using menthol crystals.

The recipe without nicotine is much easier to do, as you don't need exact amounts of the nicotine base liquid.

If you want to make a mixture of PG and VG, do you have any idea of the ratio between the two?

A simple mix (to make 10ml) would be something like 7ml PG and 3 ml VG. Mix that up with drops from the crystals or add 1ml of flavouring.

PG is difficult to buy in shops, so you'll need to order a bottle over the internet. VG is readily available, but if you are buying PG from a place that also sells VG, buy both.

If you bought 100ml of PG and 50ml of VG, plus a 10ml flavouring, you could get it all from one supplier.

Just to add Cas . . . Menthol Crystals do not dissolve easily in VG and are in the habit of reforming, you'd do better to make a concentrate solution in PG with them first. Then make up the simple recipe that Djs has suggested.

Frog's directions on making a Menthol concentrate are quite straightforward.

I used those directions and was pleasantly surprised how easily the crystal dissolved in PG.
Eventually, I put more drops in my super ice menthol, it's quite powerful stuff.

I will get menthol crystals and VG tomorrow.
Do I have to make a concentrate with menthol or can I just mix direct.
Still am unsure of measurments as all other recipies use nicotine so that is kinda throwing me

Good news. There's no reason why you can't just put some crystals in your mix, but it's unbelievably strong stuff. I guess people make a bottle of crystals already dissolved in PG to make it a bit more predictable.
Also, as it's strong, we are talking using drops not ml of your homemade menthol concentrate.

For example, if you want to make 10ml of zero nic juice, you could just use 5ml of PG, 5ml of VG and drop in 10 drops.

I made a second batch last night. 15ml PG, 5 ml VG, 30 drops of Menthol.
