i even took the darn thing into the shower with me Too much? Errr - YES! I like to be supportive as much as anyone else on the forum, and no, it isn't doing you any harm, but I do think you should be saying to yourself "no, too silly, get a grip" (Of course you wouldn't want it too far away from the shower..)

Everyone chain vapes to start with, it will ease off. Well you will learn to put it down for a few seconds at a time.
I start sneezing when I have over vaped and sometimes get a sticky feeling. As soon as sneezing starts I know to have a break from vaping for a while.

When I started it was never out of my mouth, hubby used to call it my dummy. To be honest that's exactly what it was.....something I needed to pacify me. It was then I realised that I could kick the stinkies but not the action of smoking. I.e the inhale, exhale and the smoke ( in our case vapor) pouring out. I did worry about it at first but my very supportive family ( smoked for 45 years ) urged me to do whatever it took to kick the stinkies. I stuck to 12mg nic and when my head became a little fuzzy I would switch to 8mg nic. Nearly 11 months on I still always have my dummy with me but don't need to use it quite so much....probably now only 95% of the day !!! Don't worry about it, there is no right or wrong way to how you give up the stinkies, giving them up is all that matters. Well done on your efforts so far.

I wouldn't worry unless you are getting light headed or headaches from it. I chain vape 25mg all day and have done so for we'll over a year and all is good. I have gadgets all over the house so I'm always near one of my dummy's

Thanks once again for the replies, i think i was having one of those days that day, plus it's hard to gauge if things are right or wrong or if it's just your body adjusting to lack of rubbish that went in when having stinkies, i've in all honesty as yet not really noticed any real health benefits, apart from feeling so much happier in myself for giving up and i do now after such a short time class myself as giving up Oh one side effect i have noticed is erm how shall i put it politely, alot of errrrrrr bottom burps wtmi

I was wanting to chain-vape all the time when using 18mg but recently I've started using 24mg. Now I seem to treat it more like smoking, I still have the odd chain session but most of the time I feel like I've had enough after 5 minutes or so.

Same here, vape for about 5 min then put it down and pick it up when i feel like it, usually around the half hour mark. A lot less than when i was smoking that's for sure.

I can go for a meal and not vape at the table, as soon as I get home it rarely leaves my hand. When I started I was unemployed and a student at home a lot and I had to get an automatic pass through so I could stick it in my mouth when doing coursework on the PC. Now I'm not as bad and can take it or leave it, if I have the chance I'm still a chain vaper but its not the end of the world if I can't.
Regards Jez

I've been vaping since they first came out (more or less). I smoked (stinkies) contiuously for many years (74 now) I lurve my ecigs. I am now mostly using the low juices but do find I need a 'blast' now and then -that's when the high menthol comes into its own!!! I always carry two loaded (low) ecigs when I go out but find I often don't need them but I think I might panic if I didn't !! So, whatever suits you seems to be right. MMa
