Someone on ECF is asking about handouts/business type cards to give to folks to let them know about e-cigs. I know quite a few suppliers send them with orders & you can buy some via ECF, but wondering about getting some designed via AAE-C? Either for us to print ourselves or to buy (as cheaply as possible) already printed?

That's a good idea then when you are out and about if people ask you questions you can give them a card to come and get advice and find out about what they are etc. Vistaprint are cheap and usually have offers on.

Chrissie, I have used Vistaprint. They have a service which begins with 250 free cards - when you find their offers. You can choose one of their pre-set templates, and unless you pay to remove their logo on the back advertising Vistaprint, then you pay postage only. However, they offer options then for you to adapt to your requirements, i.e., put your own logo/picture on, remove Vistaprint logo from the back, put your own message on the back, increase number you purchase..... and so on - and for each feature, you pay a bit more. If all of the offers are available at the right time, you can get circa 1000 cards printed with one of their logos for about £20. If you have your own pic on it, with printing on the back, I think it would be about £35. But then, ordering more, would reduce the cost. Hope that makes some kind of sense.

Hi Chrissie.
I guess the best would be if we can get a template setup for this.
After that people can either use some free service, print themselves or pay and do it...

Did anything come of this ? I searched around but havent really found anything suitable. I thought it would be very handy to have a few to keep in my bag. So I had a go myself. Its very much a rough draft, I'm not even sure what the exact wording should be, I'd love peoples opinions and suggestions. Attachments:

i used vista print a couple of years back and i finished up with 5000 cards for £70 ish. this was my own design but using there templates, multi coloured with a photo on a gloss card and the back set out as an estimate on matte white. you can choose from 1000s of designs while mixing the colours fonts etc you do it all on there site and save to there site. if you take your time they are a totally professional finish for a very low percentage of a printers cost. i think i started at a 1000 and then paid a tenner to bump up to 5000.
