I have mixed several different single flavour liquids now, some have steeped for 4 weeks others only 2, and they all have a definite aftertaste that I can't find the right word for.
I mix at 70/30, all my liquids are from the same vendors lots of others use. I use a clean syringe for each different liquid so there is no cross-contamination.
Any suggestions ? I wouldn't quite call it chemically, but it's there in everything.

Do you think Mono that you may need to increase the flavour % . I mix at 70/30 and know what you mean, I have been increasing the flavour % to see if that makes a difference

I thought VapeWizard and BitterWizard were for removing too sweet/sour tastes.

They can also be used to round off the flavours. I get the same in my juices, I use pg base so thinking of trying the vg base next time to see the difference.

A VG base will have more of an underlying sweetness than a PG Neil . . . but it's what I always use now for a variety of reasons. Plus for me, it compliments the sweet flavours I like.

Do you think a VG base made up to 70pg/30vg would be as sweet ? Difficult to say really Mono . . . as it will also depend upon your flavours. The VG base I'm currently using from Nicvape does seem to be a bit sweeter than in the past, but it could equally be my concentrates as I've used a different random selection than in the past. If you don't like that sweetness, then some Malic Acid would be an idea to have in.

Try mixing as normal but with no flavour and try it to see if that taste is still there - you can add flavour after you've tried it unflavoured.
