i still can't get the awful taste from that juice out of my clearomiser so i think i'll have to buy a new one getting on ok with the cartomisers but how many times do you tend to refill them before throwing them away? and how do you know when you need to start a new one?

floop the cartos go a bit 'wimpy' when they need ditching... hard to explain but I think you'll recognise it. You should be able to wash/dry/refill them a couple of times, but at the end of the day all these bits are consumables

Floop, Oneday is right it really is difficult to say when a carto needs ditching. As for the e-liquid you really dislike, which one was it out of interest?

You should be able to wash/dry/refill them a couple of times, the clearos not the cartos? but at the end of the day all these bits are consumables It's not worth trying to wash cartomisers. you'll know when they need replacing as the juice won't soak in properly and/or you'll stop getting good vapour out of them! As oneday says, you should be able to wash out and reuse the clearos a few times.

floop do you have any Bicarbonate of Soda or Denture Cleaning Tablets? Both are really good for removing lingering flavours ignore, crossed posts, I see you've already tried that!

I had a few on the go mind you. agree with this - I tend to have 1 clearo and 2 cartos on the go (usually 3 flavours on 3 batteries) and cartos usually last a month, with a good wash-out halfway through Just give them a good couple of days to dry (preferably in an airing cupboard) to dry properly With the clearo, after a good rinse after the bicarb, try soaking in vodka for a day (then rinse well and dry in airing cupboard).

Tbh with clearos I find a good rinse in hot water is sufficient then drying the wicks with kitchen towel, leave to dry overnight or use straight away makes no difference to me.
I clean a head at the end of every week and 2 heads last me over a month..
Can't help with cartos though sorry.
