Anyone know when Grant's website will be back online? 

I've been checking daily for the last 5 or 6 days and I'm now down to my last 5ml

Kbee you should join the great custard mixing community here... many of us now make our own vanilla custard at a fraction of the cost of buying it pre-made

I've yet to get into mixing - have read a few threads but seems a bit daunting and the initial outlay is not cheap.

Post a link to the custard mixing recipes and I'll think on a bit more.

Just settled down for a read of that thread OneDay Would take me all night. I'm only on page 4 and I'm already confused.

So, a list of what I would need to buy just to make Vanilla Custard would help. Perpetua has a recipe in the opening post but I think she's added changes since and what does TPA stand for ???

I'd be wanting to make it about 12mg nic and do like a bit of vapour. Have only had the 50/50 VGC so far but the 100% vg one is on my list to try.

You won't quite achieve 100% VG Kbee . . . because the flavourings used are suspended in PG. But you'll get close enough to 80%VG & 20%PG if you use a VG base and VG as your dilutent.

Have a read of the beginners guide Ash has linked to, then maybe start your own thread in Mixology if you need more help.

Daunting? - definitely not. Once you have made your first couple of mixes you'll wonder what all the fuss was about. And as far as startup costs, in 2 weeks you will be well into profit, with enough ingredients to mix up even more juice before you need to restock. It works out at about £1.50 per 10ml, and that's a conservative estimate. Do the maths and you'll be ordering before the weekend's out!
I spent £30 on my first gear, and from that made about 150ml of juice. £30 would have got me about 75ml of juice - and 150ml of juice would have cost me approximately £65. No contest

I totally agree with chykensa I was nervous about mixing too but I've done a few now and they have all worked and I spent £30 on the mixing stuff with enough to make over 200ml of juice and obviously I can re use the bottles, syringes etc. If you have an android phone there are simple e-liquid mixing calculators, you just put in what you are using and it tells you how much of everything to use. Easy peasy :-)

I'm getting more and more tempted into mixing. I spent an hour last night filling a shopping basket - but then I was getting confused over whether i needed 27mg nic base or 54mg - whether I needed pg and vg, whether I needed distilled water or vodka, which pipettes and other sundries I needed, which sweetner I needed......

I even downloaded eJuice me up.

So I gave up and went to bed!
