Some interesting stuff if you have damaged battery coating and scared to use it. You can strip off the old stuff and replace it with this heat shrink, or even use it if you want to get a little more width on your battery because it is rattling around too much. Will fit and shrink to fit 18650, 18350 batteries etc. 2 packs for 73p, (2 metres each pack?) Cut to size, slip your battery inside and heat it with a hot air blower, hair dryer. It may even be wide enough to fit over mod tubing, really not sure about that though. Five colours available. www.fasttech.com/products/1616/10004244/1323902

You just reminded me... It may be worth noting to anyone who doesn't want to wait for shipping, that heat shrink wrap is available in hobby/model (cars, boats, planes etc) shops too. Obviously you'll pay more though.

Nice find robby. I've got an AW that's got a tiny nick in the outer coating, been using electrical tape round it but will order some of this to replace it. Happy days!

I think the vamo is about 7cm circumference, so the heat sleeve would need to be a bit more than 35mm wide

22mm diameter yes, I've never seen tubing of any sort sold by the measurement of its circumference

I think the vamo is about 7cm circumference, so the heat sleeve would need to be a bit more than 35mm wide 6.908 cm lol

So the flat heat shrink would need to be 35mm X 2 sides = 7cm , just a shade more than 6.908
