Evod problems

Been using an Evod for about a week now and I'm just starting to have the same problems that I was getting with the T3, gurgling, flooding the battery and getting mouthfuls of juice which is really annoying as i was holding off from buying one to see what everyone else thought of them and the general consensus seemed OK, It's a real pity because they produce a good vape.

Looks like another kanger for the bin unless anyone can suggest anything

I change the head on mine when that happens and/or stick a cotton bud down the drip tip, has sorted it out so far. Hope it works for you!

It means your wick is gunked up, usually it's the thicker juices that cause this or anything caramel heavy- as Jen says, change the head. Learn how to re-wick them and you can change heads whenever you like for pennies

Try and see if your head is a touch loose, try screwing it down tightly.

Is there a good re-wicking vid out there? I guess it's a dismantle, 2 x 2mm wicks, wrap some wire round and drop one outside grommet one in?

I bought one at the Northants meet as I'd tried bombers and he said it had been going for a month and the taste was still great I thought.

Mine with my usual VR juice, lasted one flipping tank, then the taste went and it basically wasn't worth using anymore, I don't think I'm going to bother rewicking it.

It didn't gurgle though

your coil became caramelised, a thick deposit on the coil that comes from using certain juices. I have the same trouble with my whiskey cream.
Dry burning clears it for another tank full then a re-wick is called for.
GVC in a kayfun will kill a coil in about 3 days for me so I stocked up on wick and wire cos I love my GVC

Gurgling only happens with me on the Evods when the condensation has built up and made a pool, what i do is tip the Evod upside down on a bit of tissue and leave there for 5mins until all the condensation comes out and then roll tissue up and put it through the drip tip to soak the rest up.

Evods and Kanger Protanks do get a bit of build up of condensation quite quickly, Evods being the quickest.

Having read the glowing reviews of the Evod I thought I'm missing out here... so I got one, and if I'm honest, I was disappointed. It looks good, was easy to fill, but it was far too airy for me. Had to push my Spinner up to max to get a decent vapour and it still felt as if I was sucking on an extra mild Silk Cut. Sorry, but not for me.

Cover just one of the holes at the base and that will stop the airy part, i am ok with the airy part, some are and some aint.
