Quite a few more options for customizing the home screen

On the left I have number of seconds vaped and under it the number of seconds left before the alarm if set. It counts down as the seconds vaped goes up.
On the right it has the voltage applied to the coil to produce 11 watts and under it the atty resistance.

Across the bottom is the battery power left graphic. 

Other stuff available as well. It is certainly an improvement on the previous one. With more possibilities to come with the next one. You can store three VW profiles for different juices maybe?.

Impressed so far. Still limited to 11 watts though.

Does W8 have that Administrator thing goin on? I had to run the MVR 1.3 as administrator before it would see the EVIC.

Why is it a f***in rar file and not a zip folder, by default windows uses zip for unpacking, rar files means downloading winrar, forget it. Joyetech forgot to mention this on the support page

I used winzip to unzip mine, no problems. Why dont you want to use winrar?

I don't want to start downloading third-party software to get things to work, when all joyetech need to do is pack it in a file that Windows machines will recognise by default, 1.2 mar was a zip so why change and f*** people about

Excellent it gets better and better.

In W8 for this version it seems to work ok set as Administrator in XP sp3 compat mode. I probably wont be restarting the computer until tomorrow so the acid test for me will be will it still reconnect after a reboot. V1.2 and below never would on my machine. If it doesn't I have an old laptop running W7 which looks after security cams and the like so I can always stick it on there.

I really like the new home screen options, thanks Robby for your screen shot and explanation, made a lot more sense then the provided Chinglish information

For me 11 watts isn't a problem as I rarely go over 7 anyway.

Chuffed with this upgrade, when funds permit I may buy another head and treat it to some new clothes, I think the black tube set looks very smart.

I really really wish there was a Linux version as well as I'm trying very hard now to consign Windows to the dustbin of history.

it is my choice greigster and I wont, but my argument is that a company states its a windows download when by default it aint and companies need to get it right. i have contacted them just and i will await the reply, its possibly people like myself that eventually gets companies doing the simple things properly. which in turn makes for a better experience for the end user ie: me and you (instead of just accepting it as normal)

For me, it was easy to do by using Winzip and probably took less time than it took you to contact Joyetech.

Some times we have to weigh up things and decide what action to take. You have decided to let this annoy you where as I have decided to use a third party application and I am happy with it.
I have 1.3 working on my Evic and you have chosen not to have it on yours.

I am and you are . I don't think it is worth spoiling your day for, and of course there are many occasions that we need third party software.

Have a vape mate and chill, its just not that important......well not for me.
