although I'm not a cooking program addict, I do love cooking... and it was cruel of you to talk about food ! I didn't even notice how hungry I was ! brb, gonna do a bacon burguer ! (I know that's not cooking, but what else could I do?)

As my 'cookery' skills consist of preparing and placing Sammy's grub in his bowl Jessy, my input is minimal on this. However . . . if you need a murder solving, I can probably do all the forensic work for you.

I used to like ready steady cook when Fern did it and I watch cheeky Jamie Oliver and My hubby adores Nigella (wonder why lol) I bumped into the Hairy Bikers 2 weeks ago in the village where my daughter lives, they have been filming there for a month with it being shown in the Autumn sometime but its all hush hush apparently ???

Yes i must admit that although i find cookery programmes uninteresting (as television goes) there is something watchable about Nigella.

Nope. Kitchen is where I feed the dogs, put stuff in fridge, take stuff out of fridge to put on wormery.Love it Also love cookery programmes - but my cooking has always been a complete disaster because I'm so disorganised and anyway I need a drink to cook and I'm a good girl now. So you can imagine what I think of Heston Blumenthal Me and a bottle used to make the best curries in the world, all spices freshly ground and toasted, made the Ceylon way. With eggs fried in leftover curry sauce on Sunday mornings... *sigh* Only trouble was, dinner was never ready until about 1am scylla

I quite enjoy "Come Dine With ME", I think the narator is a hoot.
Funilly enough I joked the other night with a friend that it would be brilliant in the future if there was a "Come Vape With Me"
I'd put my name up for that LOL.

Bet you'd have been really entertaining mate, especially bobbing round your kitchen with knife in one hand and e-cig in the other. LOL

I think that by the time I encountered Nigella's cooking I was already indoctrinated with Western European and Far Eastern "cuisines". Her tendency to Eastern European alienates me. Well, that's my theory. Always had a soft spot for her, she and John Diamond bought the same vacuum cleaner as I did Used to love his Sunday Times column (or was it Saturday's?). scylla
