Hi,
As the subject says this is a small write up of my vaping in three different time zones (UK, Dubai and India) Got two clearo's full of banana crème and two Ego 650 MHz batteries fully charged for the journey ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The journey started at Bristol at 4:00 Am. The driver had clearly mentioned before starting the bus that he would drop off the person he found smoking or drinking. Did not want to take a risk of vaping and miss my flight being thrown out in the middle of nowhere so kept the pv in my pocket. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Entered Heathrow and once I finished all the security I went for a breakfast as I was starving. Asked the diner if they would allow a PV the lad over there told that if there is no smoke than I can use it. So I had to stealth vape inside the diner. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Once I finished my breakfast I walked to find some airport personnel with whom I could confirm if I could vape. I had to speak with three different people to get the permission as the first two did not allow me. 1st: What is an electronic cigarette I have no idea if you can do it here please ask someone else. 2nd: I am sorry but you cannot use a cigarette even if it is electronic (Lesson learned not use the word cigarette with vaping) 3rd: You can use a PV inside the airport. It is legal. Once I got the word that I could use it just mentally noted his name and sat down and had some real nice vape. There were quite a lot of people watching me and some even asked me about it. A really cute girl asked for a drag and I gave it to her after fitting a rubber mouthpiece to the clearo (I am not sure if I would have done it to a guy though) This was the first time I was having real fun time at the airport. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ As quite a lot of people had mentioned before I did not try to vape or ask permission in the plane. Just used the bathroom and did stealth vaping. PS: If you are using VG you have to be very careful as these gives a hell lot of vapour it is better you have some PG juices just for flights if you are planning to travel. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I had a stop over at Dubai Airport with almost 3 hours to kill. So again asked the first security person I saw and I had to give him a demo also. He was really surprised with these and would not leave me for around 10 minutes asking doubts. He even wanted to have a draw on my clearo. Luckily I had stocked some rubber dript tips which we get with the clearo’s anticipating something like this and it was a real life saver. So I sat in a nice recliner there in Dubai airport with a nice coffee in my hands and vaped there to my hearts content. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ It was very easy in the Indian airports also to get permission to vape inside the airport once I gave a demonstration to the 4 – 5 policemen who had gathered around me to see what this thing is. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ So here are my lessons learned from my trip 1) If the first person you ask regarding vaping does not allow you to do so make sure you walk around and find a different person to ask the same. There are quite a lot of people who do not know what vaping is and what the laws regarding vaping is so make sure you don’t stop trying at the first rejection. 2) Make a note of the persons name who allowed you to vape (In case the people who refused you in the first place sees you vaping like a chimney) 3) Take some PG liquids with you if you are planning to do some stealth vaping (Inside restaurants or planes) 4) Make sure you carry some spare disposable mouth piece in case some of the security wants to have a drag on your e-cig. (In non democratic countries like Dubai and all if they want to have a drag you better give them one if you want to travel without an issue) 5) If you are travelling to a hotter climate like I did and you use pure VG you are in for a treat. The juice gets thinner so that you get the perfect wicking for your clearos. If I rate a clearo here 3.5 out of 5 I would give a clearo 4.5 out of 5 in India where I was getting such amazing taste on the same juice.
Lastly I am sorry for writing so much. But I was so exited that I had to let it out.

I have seen people say that they even got their GGTS and Provari with them and was not asked anything.
1) Make sure you put the PV you are carrying with you in your bag (Laptop or ur cabbin baggage) 2) If you are carrying any liquid (I considered by clearo as liquid) put it seperately in a clear bag in to the tray along with you personal belongings when you go for screening. 3) In case anyone questions you tell them it is a Personal Vaporizer and offer them a demo if they wish to see it working 4) Carry a self addressed envelope which is properly stamped with you so that in the worst case you can mail your PV to yourself. (All airports should allow this but I dont think you would have to do this)

curtisdon,
I travelled from BKK - LHR - Aberdeen with 2 multi's in my hand carry and my wife had one too and in the last month have flown to NZ and back with my multi. I thought about them being wired up to a battery etc etc through security but never had one question about them. Before modding it's a mobile device charger and still is so there should be no problem. If you don't want to mention e-cigs if ever asked then just tell them it's for charging your phone ....pretty simple as your not lying. I'pods, mobile phones etc are wired up to a battery and i'll almost guarantee they wont even ask when you get through security

Thanks Chrissie...
I cant even explain how nice it was to be able to vape in all those places.
I used to literally dread flying to India because it meant almost 16 - 20 hours of restlessness because of the nicotine cravings...
But this time it was amazing

Sham, I should imagine it also helped to make the waiting time pass more quickly when folks where asking you about your e-cig?

Brilliant Sham, glad you had fun vaping at the airports, it's always interesting to see how other people who're dying for a fag view it!
If you're taking Tornado / Riva type batteries keep them all together, I use my old baccy tin. Airport security appear to be pretty much aware of what they are, I've not had any problems at all. I do tend to tell the security that they're my ecig batteries as I had to give the demo (really embarrasing, held up a massive queue) in Egypt! LOL
