help zmax mini

Hi I got a new zmax mini last week and every tank i put on it tastes burnt after a short time of vaping it. Even at the lowest voltage and wattage settings. The tanks are mostly 1.5 omh iclear 16s and few vivi novas. I'm using 60 /40  e juice from ec blend. Am I doing something wrong. Please help. It's doing my head in!!

I can't cay for certain but it may be due to the fact that the zMax's output is pulsed. This happens with all (I think) the Chinese VV/VW mods and they are better with higher resistance coils. Are you in rms mode? If not switch to rms this may help.

with regard to cleaning wicks, coils and dry burning. I use the iclear 16's a lot and as long as you keep the coil clean the heads will last for at least a month, I have no knowledge of vivi novas or zmax though

I think Monty has probably diagnosed your problem xtc . . . it really does make a difference having the device in Rms mode, don't know why the Chinese make it with both myself.

The device is in rms mode. I've just ordered a kanger pro tank. It's 2.5 ohms. I hope it will solve the low resistance problem.

What juice are you using then xtc . . . maybe it's not wicking so well? Are you keeping the wicks on the Nova wet by swooshing the liquid around every so often?

I use a Tzmax and Zmax and don't have a problem with a burnt taste, that's using low resistance stuff with VG heavy juices as well.

could be the juice i have been having probs with the vamo even on 3.0 w or ohms my juice taste burnt,i re wicked the aga loads of times from 1.4 to 2.8 still the same so ive finally given up on that juice and change to a lighter color tutti frutie flavor and ever thing is fine the other coffee based juice is now sat in a clear o 2.8 ohm coil on a ego and taste fine in fact its as its best when the battery starts to fade hmmm also think it is still to thick the juice will thin some more later and test

I'm using strawberry kiwi mix 60 pg 40 vg. I've been using a ce7 I got off fasttech. It doesn't taste burnt in it. It's just not a great tank to use.
