Yeah, wonder why. I came across a vamo design a few weeks ago. Polished copper and had what looked like plumbing fittings on it...Ghastly piece of design and you do wonder what was going through the designers mind. Don't you agree robby. I seem to remember it was a quite wonderful creation Brambles, obviously designed by a very talented guy with vision

Off the stinkies 2 weeks today! so have decided to treat myself to the Vamo from fasttech and upgrade the charger to the Nitecore as suggested by Robby. I also want to buy a couple of the larger 18650 batteries to use along with it. Can anyone tell me if they are all the same or which ones would be best to buy from this company.

Just been adding it up costs , if you need/want the 18350 batteries as well, then it is only an extra couple of quid to get the charger as well. The kit also comes with a cheapy nova with a chrome tip by the looks of it where I priced a cheap nova in. So the kit is quite good if you want the batteries and atomiser as well. As long as it is Stainless steel and I know robby was told by company the manufacturer says its SS but I am reserved on this as pictures show chrome. Why show the wrong photos?
Trust me..... I am just confusing the issue as always..bit of verbal diawotzit these days.

Thanks Brambles, and sorry for being such a needy newbie.... but I was just wondering if it would be a good idea to get the protected batteries? as you can probably tell, I'm not the most technically minded and all the posts I've read about exploding batteries has me a bit worried. :-S

As Arrowmunda has said no need for protected in the Vamo. The Panasonics are a very safe chemistry anyway. The main thing with Lithium batteries is not to over charge above 4.2 volts and not to discharge below 2.5 volts. The vamo cuts off at low voltage, as do most electronically controlled mods, to protect the batteries. You would only need a protected battery if using a mechanical mod.

Thanks again Brambles and Arrowmunda , now I've got the the batteries bit sorted, I've emailed Vapourbreak and ask them to let me know when the ss version of the Vamo will be in stock. As I was intending to buy a better charger and batteries anyway theirs is definitely the best value. I've even enough left over to buy a pretty new protank to top it all off!

Sent you a personal message re Vaporbreak having a few SS vanmo back in stock. Once you register and sign in to the site the price drops. Also select the left stainless steel option and it will show you the SS price and stock level remaining.
