I've just taken delivery from Vapeescape of a Joyetech eGo-C 1000mAh Battery and Pass Through, with constant and variable voltage modes.
Please can you treat me like the idiot I am and explain what I've bought?!
I understand that I can charge it whilst vaping (which apart from needing a new battery and this being on offer is the main reason I opted for it).
I also have the instructions which explain HOW to switch between variable and constant voltage, but to be honest I have no idea what the difference is and benefit of this function!
Thanks

It's not a true vv device.
It has 2 power options, fixed at 3.3v which I would use with anything that was quite low resistance. This is what an Ego battery does.
The other mode acts like a battery in a mechanical mod, or a Riva battery. You'll get more power from a newly charged battery then the power will decrease as the battery charge lowers. I would use this mode if I wanted a bigger throat hit and vapor, but would then have to re-charge it before it before the power decreased too much!

Thanks, so just really two "strengths of power" put simply?
I'm using 2.4 heads. I can definitely feel a stronger throught hit on the vv mode

Karma has pretty much summed it up Toby. White/Blue = Regulated 3.3V throughout Orange = Unregulated 4.15V Decreasing When it's charging the base will glow red and when it's fully charged - no glow. To change from regulated to unregulated - Turn the battery off (5 clicks), press and hold the button until it flashes, turn the battery back on (but, I think you already know that).

Thanks both. And thanks Jason for an excellent and speedy delivery as ever!
It's good to be able to get a higher throat hit without having to change heads. I've got a lot of left over cheap juices I bought from a clear out sale a while back that are ok but not much hit.
