Hello from Somerset (my story)

Hi everyone, thought after reading the forum for a week or two I'll take the step to register.

I've smoked now for over 25 years, starting on tailor made's then over to rollups for the last ten or so years. It was the good lady wife that got me my first ecig as she had just given up (cold turkey) due to the grandchild coming along and I was then banished to outside to smoke. She got me a 10 motives rechargeable from Sainsburys about a month and a half ago and have been on them ever since.

I've been getting through about six or seven of the replacement cartridges a week on these and was getting a little fed up with the costs involved and almost went back to rollups until I had the idea that these things could be refillable and pulled a empty cartridge apart to have a look inside.

Seeing how basic the internals where, i thought someone out there in Internet land must have worked out how to refill these dam things, which led me to youtube and finding these cartridges where called cartomisers and ejuice was used to fill them led me then on to a online store selling the liquid.

So now I'm filling my 10 Motives cartomisers with FeelLife Golden Virginia 12mg and the 10 Motives ecig took on a whole new life. Much nicer to use, and cheaper to run. A little sick to think I threw out about 48 cartos that still had lots of use in them but hay ho such is life and have 8 unused prefilled ones that I may never use.

As I write this I'm waiting on my Riva 1100 deluxe kit that comes with two CE4 clearomisers so it looks like it really is goodbye to smoking and hello to vapeing.

I know this is quite a long hello, but I thought I would share how I found about vapeing and how I ended up here so i could find out more and ask questions when I get confused.

Hi Simon, and welcome to the forum! PLEASE don't apologise for the length of your introduction, we love reading about how people get started, and they nearly always start with the dreaded cig-a-likes, then move onto finding this forum and ordering something much more powerful and easy to use.
