Stopped by police for smoking in my lorry.

Showed them the beast vamo. Had to explain what it was. Show them how it worked etc. They were very interested. Anyway no law against it so nothing they could do and sent me on my merry way.

Lorry cab is classed as place of work therefore illegal to smoke. ridiculous.

You are correct neil. I am the only person that drives this truck but still not allowed to smoke. Yes they could have been idiots about it but they were good. More interested in my vamo than anything else lol.

This is similar to the question I raised on another topic.

The anti-smoking brigade wanted smoking banned in lorries because it was a distraction to driving, but they took the easy route and had it banned because of the smoke contamination.

Then along comes e-cigs which do not produce smoke and are by their definition, legal, yet in fact in many case are an even bigger distraction than cigarettes.

If e-cigs are doing nothing else, they are proving just what a total ass the anti-smoking lobby in the UK really are.

I wouldn't say they are a bigger distraction. You dont have to thumble around getting it out of a pack or roll it... never mind trying to get it lit.
Just grab it, press the button and vape.
