I am a little concerned about some folk who have made the decision to try supermarket flavourings and so felt compelled to offer the following :
These flavourings are considerably weaker than than the ones associated with vaping i.e. F'art, LorAnn, DV, TPA, etc....
In my experience they also tend to lose their flavour in mixes quite quickly.
And finally can in most cases be quite harsh.
I would not recommend these for use myself. However, having said that I do use Asda Rum flavouring myself, but that is only because I can't find any decent Rum flavourings from the normal supliers.
So try at your own risk.

Agree Griz, plus you need to ensure that if you do buy supermarket flavourings, that they are not oil based . . . as not only do they clog your atomiser, oil inhaled into the lungs can be dangerous.

Thanks for that!I would neverhave considered the dangers! But at 2.24 less discount plus loyalty pointsa go for TPA I would not consider the supermaket flavours! But I was tempted to go for the loran flavouring! now tell me you guys - what are they like????

I'm going to fail miserably on the Loran flavourings as I haven't tried them HC, but Griz will have I'm sure. Boring me, once I find a 'brand' I like, I don't bother experimenting further.

Where is good to buy concentrates from? I'm partial to rum so I will get some of that from asda but think i'll get the rest from a proper e-liquid concentrate place. I tried the websites that were suggested but found them a bit daunting and difficult to navigate. Was kinda hoping one of our lovely friendly UK suppliers might sell concentrates??

I can only agree with Perpetua about The Perfumers Apprentice and also use both those suppliers for the concentrates. I do have to say I quite like the Flavour Arts concentrates which are also sold at liberty flights although the bottles are only 5ml, half what you get compared to PA ones. www.liberty-flights.co.uk/product.asp?id=15

Perpy, when I saw, a month or two ago, that you'd ordered Perfumer's Apprentice flavours I Googled them - and promptly ordered from the US 2 x 1oz cost me $19.31 inc shipping Caramel Cappuccino (they said it was very strong ) Pecan Forgot I had them. Note: Whenever "we" talk about supermarket flavours we always say to make sure NO OIL! scylla

To date my own experimentation has involved the use of F'art, DV, LorAnn, Cloud 9 and Asda Rum. I am however looking forward to trying flavourings from TPA and Flavour West in the near future.
As I mention in my post on mixing not all flavourings are equal, that's not to say that one vendors flavourings are better than anothers, It just means that there are good flavours and there are not so good flavours from all vendors.
It's all trial and error when looking for a good flavour, for example, as I mention in my post, in my search for chocolate flavourings I found only 3 out of 6 that I tried that resembled chocolate, and one of those is more like cocoa.
Also I found that although a particular brand of chocolate went well in one recipe it did'nt suit another and so I had to use a different chocolate for that.
My only frustration is not being able to find decent White Rum and Dark Rum flavourings, for Dark Rum I was very happy with LorAnn Butter Rum but you ca'nt get it anymore outside of the US, also they wo'nt ship it due it having a high flash point. For a White Rum Flavouring, as I've mentioned, I use Asda Rum flavouring, not by choice but because there is'nt anything else available.
So you really do have to experiment with flavourings from different vendors untill you find what is best for you. It's also worth mentioning that as taste is subjective what one person finds to be a good flavouring from a particular vendor may not suit someone else.
