This is a great little kit and the price is fantastic. Bought two recently as a present for a couple of friends, both 45 year smokers. I'm thrilled to say that one has been smoke free for two weeks and the other coming up to a month...result or what!!!

OK visited the e cig shop in town and came out with a ego-t starter kit for £34 with juice. Didn't think that was a bad price.

I've charged the thing up and have been using it for all of 30 mins - so far so good. I tried all the different flavours in the shop but can't quite get my head around them yet! No doubt I'll give them a go at some point in the future.

The real test will come at 0500 in the morning when I have to get up and have a coffee and a fag to wake up followed by a 10 hour shift. I'll keep you posted...

Hi y'all - said I'd keep you posted on how I got on yesterday with my 10 hour shift! Well, I did have a cig with my morning coffee then went the entire 10 hour shift without one! I took the vapouriser to work with me and used that a few times. Had 2 cigs in the evening which is a hellava lot less then I would have done normally so I'm quite pleased with myself .

Sandra (aka Chillax) thanks for the advice about not beating myself up if I have a cig. Like most new things it (vaping) takes time to get used to...

I do however have a question regarding the juice: I have tobacco flavour of 18mg. I think it might be a bit on the strong side and I seem to be coughing a lot. Am I OK to put a bit of water with it to dilute it slightly? Is the coughing related to the high strength of the juice or just because I'm new to vaping?

You've done really well!

Some people develop a cough when stopping or cutting down smoking as the body tries to get rid of all the gunk.

I wouldn't use water to dilute the juice. You could get some Vegetable Glycerine at a chemist and add a bit of that, it will water the taste down a bit though

The other thing you could do is buy the same flavour in a lesser strength and then mix them together!

The coughing is most likely due to not smoking.

Ironic really that one develops a smokers cough when you cut down and/or stop smoking - should be fun tomorrow then when I have to do the dreaded bleep test for work!! They won't believe me when I say I'm trying to quit smoking ha ha ha!

I never thought I had a smoker's cough until 4 or 5 months into vaping, then I realised how "quiet" I was then and more so these days.

When you say ego-T, do you mean the ones with separate atomisers and cartridges? Having recently pleaded with a potential new Vaper not to buy one of these systems, I'd be keen to know how you get on.

Hi there it's been a week now of vaping and I think I'm getting to grips with the thing but I do have a few questions... Here goes:

1.Liquid strength - on a previous post I said that I had got too higher strength tobacco flavour - I actually think the strength is too low . This is because I've just finished 3 days of 12 hour night shifts (you know what I mean!). Now, I never had the thing out of my hand - a bit like a baby hanging onto a dummy! In fact someone commented that I seem to do more vaping than smoking cigs and it's true. Could the tobacco/nicotine strength be the reason and do I need a stronger 'hit'?

2. Does anyone on here vape with only tobacco flavour? Up until recently I smoked roll ups with Golden Virginia tobacco. When I bought my vaping gizmo I got a bottle of Hangsen tobacco flavour juice at 18mg. Now, I don't know if it's me but I've nearly finished the thing after a week. I'm thinking that maybe I need a slightly higher nicotine content so that I don't vape as much!

Also I needed(?) to take the other battery to work with me and kept swapping them over in the night

Any assistance/info/advice/help on the above would be FAB!

What strength liquid are you using. I hardly ever put mine down. I get 18mg so i can vape more. Also you tend to vape more when you start whike your brain and body sort themselves out.
I get through about 4ml or 5ml a day so over a week thats 35ml.

What mah batteries do you have?

Sometimes you need differant strenths for differant times off day.
Higher the more stressed you are
Lower when you are chilled out

I vape mainly tobacco flavours, but, you will not get anything that tastes like a cigarette. You don't really want that anyway, you are vaping now not smoking. Good luck and welcome.
