Hello! I have had a look at the beginners threads and lots of others but am still feeling a bit confused! I would be really grateful for any basic advice anyone can offer. I have been a smoker for nearly 30 years now and finally decided to try e-cigs instead. I began by buying the e-lite as it was available in the corner shop, but after about 10 minutes realised it was no substitute and gave up. A friend then suggested I try the SD keyring. I bought the small version and the maxi version, with pre-filled cherry cartomisers. Thanks to those, I haven't now had a ciggie since Monday and am feeling very proud of myself! Now, I am becoming intrigued with "proper" vape products, and have been looking at what's around but am completely at a loss at what to get. The SD keyrings are perfect for daytime - they fit in my pocket and I can use them on my commute to and from work, and discreetly on "fag breaks" at the office. What I really now want is something to use at home, where I can buy juices and not use pre-filled cartomisers. I'm not expecting to get something tiny and feminine, but I don't want a hefty great thing either. A vaping friend has suggested the EGO twist battery is brilliant. But I can't find a "Kit" that incorporates such a battery. If I buy that battery, what else do I have to buy? I know I need juice, and something to put the juice in, but what else? I really need a "shopping list", in absolute lay-man's language, of what I need to get that will be reliable and very easy to use!! If anyone can suggest a simple list of what to get I would be massively grateful.
Many thanks!

Hi joehel, and welcome to the forum! I'm sure someone will be along in a few minutes to help you find what you're looking for, but in the meantime, congratulations you have found the friendliest and most helpful forum. There is loads of experience here, and you will get lots of replies, with links, to help you find a Twist starter kit. It may be just as cheap to put a kit together from one vendor, but in the meantime I suggest that you look at the Riva kits at Vape Escape and UK Ecig Cabin - you will now doubt be directed there soon anyway Andy

Thank you Andy! It just gets soooo confusing when there are all these elements to take into account and not just a battery/cartomiser!!

Hi Johel & , i've only been here a week, through recommendations here i got the Riva kit from UK Ecig Cabin, this comes with 2 batteries, 2 clearomisers, usb charger, case for all the above & a 10ml starter bottle of juice, it does feel a bit big initially but a much better vape than cigalikes. You will also need a plug (wall) charger if like me you're not at a computer all day these are also sold at Uk Ecig Cabin. If you were to order one of these you could also order some premixed juice while you were waiting for the Riva to arrive, depending on what juice/flavour you are wanting someone other on here can give you better advice on juice than me, happy vaping

Surely not. E-lites are going to turn over £30 million this year and their directors are retiring soon. The product is that good. ??? Mr Everett - director , recently said "“It has made us really aware of money and very sensible with it, we try not to waste it as it’s hard-earned and we try to spend it well.” I see Mr Everett - no quibbles about selling £3.99 cartomisers, though. What about my hard-earned Money? I digress. Welcome to AAEC. The guys and girls on here will look after you.
