SD arrived this morning, took me about 1.5 hours to get the bloody safety cap wired on,after using a magnifying glass and a thin nedle. the first battery only took 2 hours or less to turn green, there is no mention of an 8 hour charge being necessary (your advise here please). first impression are very good,no confusion switching from auto to the manual battery, mind you no lager consumed yet (a one second hold before drawing, hope thats right). you get a 10ml bottle £5........5 blank carts £5.......2 atties £14...........charger £5......... 2 batteries £10......thats £39 the total cost with p+p £66.73p making the unit £27.73 which is good i think. ragjoy............

The Battery comes partly charged so 2 hours to top it up sounds fine. Once you have used it for a few hours it will take longer to completely charge. You dont have to wait for them to turn green to use them .

Raggie, just to add to what Keef says. When the light does turn green on the chargers, they stop charging so it's pointless leaving them in there any longer.
Yes a quick press of the button before drawing helps heat up the attie to create the vape.
I didn't realise you would have to fix on the safety cap yourself? In fact I'm sure I've read of people being confused & not realising they had to remove the safety cap before it would work.

you dont have to attach the cap to the lanyard but i will no doubt lose the thing if i hadnt,it will be handy as the button dont really need pushing in,the weight of the unit,if held downwards depresses the button,so it would definitely go off in your pocket without the cover. ragjoy........

The hard part about attaching the button lanyard was getting the metal ring on to the plastic bridge! I just poked the other end through one of the two holes (from the outside in) and pulled it up with the pin I use for prodding around in my carts. If you attach the neck lanyard you'll find the button won't fit in properly which is a pain. I don't use mine any more.
It was Scott (igetcha69) who didn't realize the button had a cover and thought he'd been sent a duff model to review. lol.
By the way, I've had no problem with the button coming loose - I do have a screwdriver (no pun intended) that fits the slot in the screw head exactly and keep that handy for tightening up if necessary.
I do hope you enjoy your SD ragjoy. If you prefer the 510 atties, you can get an adapter to change from 901 to 510.

What a nuisance, I hope your 901s are fit to vape if you're stuck with only one fit SD battery. Those batteries shouldn't take that long to charge. Can you vape off it?
Keep an eye on it, whatever.

On igetcha69's review of the SD MkII, he comments that his battery took forever to turn green so he just used it anyway without waiting and it was perfectly fine. After that he just charged it up for three to four hours and had no further problems with it. www.youtube.com/user/igetcha69#p/u/3/EysT5P7Mryg (07.07). Fox

Sounds like the TW batteries are really 900mAh also looks like one of your batteries did not have a pre-charge in the factory . The ones I buy are marked 880mAh but in reality are about 750mAh and take around 8hrs from flat .
Re the button turning on in your pocket without the cover - if you turn the atomiser 1/2 a turn it wont ignite. Just remember to tighten it again before you vape.
