Me and a newly turned vaping friend have decided to go halves on a mixing kit. I'm doing the shopping cart, but i just cannot decide on which flavouring brand to get At first i was going to go for some capella, then i noticed F'arts seem to be quite popular in the users recipe collections... I was going to use 28vapeslater, so it'd have to be capella if i was to go down that route as their F'arts collection is limited.....but then again CCW sounds like a tasty name hehe. Am i thinking too hard and should i just go ahead and get whatever flavours take my fancy in whatever brand i like? ??? Thanks as always guys and girls...

I would go with what your heart tells you, it's a bit trial and error, some might say Cupcakes strawberry is great others might think differently, that's the best part of mixing, finding out what you like and don't like

Monki - I know, it's a minefield out there! I started off using some F'arts, then switched to Capella which I prefer for my VC mixes. But now I'm tempted by some of the CCW flavours! Why does there have to be such a massive selection to chose from? I suppose at least we can share our findings here and help each other towards good versions of each flavour. Andy

Also have a look at the recipes on here and you can get to grips of what is quite popular, i.e Capella vanilla custard, Perfumers French vanilla deluxe, Perfumers dulce de lech, Perfumers sweetener...etc etc A nice selection of fruits, some pie crust, some cake batter, caramel, toffee, Capella new york cheesecake, Capella Grahams cracker....i could go on forever

Have some from all the ranges Mon . . . there's good and not so good in all. Maybe post a list of the flavours you fancy trying and get a few thoughts? Although it's down to yours and friend's taste buds ultimately, but it might help to get some feedback before you purchase.

Some good advice there from Perps Let us know what types of flavours you are thinking of buying! I would have expected Perpetua to say 'buy them all'

Thanks for posting that romelee! The flavours i was thinking of starting with were vanilla custard and apple pie, but i've still got <50ml of gvc so logically it would make sense to try something else. I got a sample of apple pie from AC and i really like it....i think he uses capella so i may get some capella apple pie. Other then that, we both like fruity ones and dessert type. I'm also tempted to try some blend of tobacco, but i think i'd rather buy that premade for now... What we will probably end up doing is going for a £30 kit with 2x10mls, then get a 5x5ml sampler to play with for now...so 7 flavours to try. Does that sound like a good idea? From reading your posts it looks like all the brands are good enough! I'll check out the user recipes for ones i may like thanks

CCW are cheap, which doesn't matter so much when you are making recipes for interesting tastes, but if you are trying to create a regular vape then it does - if you aren't a ninja then flavours can be the biggest single cost of vaping. I'm enjoying the occasional vape on capella VC, but the chocolate for my regular choc mint comes from CCW and the peppermint from Tescos.
