Lynda, I've got to admit, though I was initially impressed with cartomisers, I've gone back to using atties - just still prefer the draw & mouth piece of the 901. For me what is giving the best results ever is the GGTS with a 3.7v 18650 battery & LR 901 atties. Thanks for the offer though James

The ones I bought from Freddo were not as good as Toby's (iVapour-Elixir). Lyn, I'll buy yours off you if you'd like to tot up how many you have and how much you'd like for them. scylla

They've been out of stock at Health Cabin every time I've looked I bought some of Freddo's @ 99p each but they're not the best quality - they do work though. scylla I've just bought some packs of 'hard tip' 510 atties from HC that are slightly more expensive but still much cheaper than from the UK ('slow' postal charges). Foxy, you have just reminded me that I've got some soft tip 510 cartomisers that I bought from health Cabin & not even got round to trying them yet

The soft tips that I bought (currently sold out) are so much like cigarette 'cork tips' even down to the look of them. All cartomizers seem to have a certain taste to them that I rather like. I've tried them in RY4, Malborough and flue cured and like them all. The steel tips look good with my GG Slim but they do get rather hot. I like them as they fit everything I have (with adapters) with the exception of my SDII and give pretty decent vapour and flavour. They work out cheaper than buying regular atties if I buy from China; they're pretty pricey from the UK sadly, because of the 17.5% VAT that is soon to be 20% if we can get them here at all in the future. I'm interested to know if anyone has tried these with the Riva?
They look quite cheap from healthcabin.

Hissie, I've heard they can be very successfully used with the Riva. I think (though hopefully someone will correct me if I'm wrong) that you can't use the cone though when using cartomisers on the Riva. And yes, they are very cheap from Health Cabin. The price makes them very easy to accept that they are disposable after being refilled a few times.

Got my new Garry Dibley passthru yesterday. Very disappointed that he hasn't managed to find a much better (ie, flatter) button, though the current one is a bit better than the original, which, for those who don't know, was too thin, it hurt the finger after a while. Yesterday I had a terrible time with my last 901 atty on it, I could ony get a vape that burned my throat. I didn't tell y'all because I'm so stoical Today I was desperate and suddenly remembered my remaining Freddo cartomisers. This is the trouble with having a compartmentalised brain... Filled a carto with <half a cap of ENjuice Cafe Tabac each end, left it to rest for not long enough, have no patience. Used the 510>901 LF adapter, dreading that it wouldn't allow a carto vape - but it's brilliant Easily a 5v vape, maybe approaching 6v (but I wouldn't know for sure). I need one of Jaki's lanyards to do the centrifugal carto refill with I don't mean that Jaki, I can invent something scylla

I use the soft tipped cartomizers from Health Cabin on my 'Riva/Tornado/Ego and they're fine. They can be vaped using the cone although the tip doesn't protrude all that much - enough though. I have a 510 to cartomizer adapter and that set up is the same as when using an ordinary cart. The black cartomizers look pretty cool using the adapter as do the silver ones with my (now) silver cone. The finish peeled off my 'titanium' finish cone. Fox
