History:

Because I loved the cartomisers I bought from Toby (iVapour-elixir) months ago, I bought Imeo's 901>Carto adapter so I could use them with my Screwdriver. I also bought some cartos because the originals had been done to death (they refill lots of times).

I was devastated (me being a drama queen) to find that almost all that came thru was air. In order not to waste the cartos, I bought 2 Creator batteries (made for cartos, so not requiring an adapter), only to realise that it's not just that the adapter let thru too much air - the cartos are nearly as bad on their own

Not sure if that means they have the letters on the cartomisers though.

Marking on one of my cartos, inside the battery end on the raised "circle" = 2009, and opposite it = 12. That's all I can find. There's no ID on the bubble-pack.

My life may have been saved, though, because my SD batteries are all nearly dead but the Creator batteries works OK with 901 atties, especially if I keep tapping the hole in the atty with finger, which blocks in on-and-off and creates a half-decent draw

Please post any Cartomiser info here, especially if you come across a FIX for the airy ones

To make matters worse, I've just received a 65% Polyester nightie from eBay which was listed as 100% Cotton

I'm going to soldier on with my Creator battery with 901 atty, but I will call on you if they don't last until Deal Extreme come good - they haven't notified of despatch yet.

Just been looking for more info on cartomizers cos I'm thinking of giving them a try.

Scylla, Rob from Vapor Kings suggests the following to tighten up the draw ie make it less airy : -

The air'y'ness (Trademark pending LOL) comes from the device connector and how much air it allows to pass to the cartomizer connector through the center and in the sides of the threads. You can take a toothpick and break the tip of it off in the side holes and tighten the draw up some.

Just an FYI - the Creator stuff is the Kanger brand, ie KR808D-1. I believe it even says so on Toby's site now.

Health Cabin's new 510 Cartomizers also fit the Tornado/Ego/Riva and are really inexpensive even taking (slow boat from China) postage into account. I've just received 5 x 5 packs of flue cured flavour and would recommend them. Loads of flavour, loads of vapour and mucho cheapness! (£2.98\5 + P)

Edit: I would just add that even using the 510 to cartomizer adapter I couldn't get the KR808D-1 cartomizers to work with the Tornado battery (510).

As luck would have it, both the prefilled and empty 510 carts have sold out!! Not surprised really. I was just going to place another order! The designated carts you linked to Lilac are almost three times more expensive than Health Cabin's.

They've been out of stock at Health Cabin every time I've looked

I bought some of Freddo's @ 99p each but they're not the best quality - they do work though.

I have a couple of batches of cartomizers, pre-filled ones, and they do nothing for me at all!Tried them with GGTS, Tornado and various other devices.
I wonder if I am doing something wrong? (surely not Lynda..lol)I think I have 3 unused vanilla and the same of RY4 if anyone wants to take them off my hands.
