So, I went to Tescos today and procured some of their cheapy denture tablets. Once home, I realised they were Mint flavour. Went back to change them, but the customer service desk was closed, so I checked in the toothpaste isle, and it seems that all denture tablets are minty flavour. Does it matter if they are minty? Can you get non-minty ones? Where can you get them? Should I just use the cheapy minty ones I have anyway? Cheers

I love a good denture tablet. Top notch on an antique putter.

You can use bicarbonate of soda instead.

You can use bicarbonate of soda instead. You could have told me that before I went back to Tescos, des Thought I read somewhere about bicarb leaving a funny taste? (Would be even cheaper though) And I see a lot of people use denture tablets.

I use those denture tablets Fred . . . they've Bicarb of Soda in them anyway. Just give whatever a good rinse through with some hot clear water after you've cleaned it.

The main ingredient in denture tablets is bicarb.
It should be tasteless, just rinse your gear after soaking in it overnight.
In fact bicarb is good at removing flavours.

As already said, Tesco's effervescent denture tablets then rinse well afterwards. Works a treat.
