i dont understand why apart from getting nicotine in your mouth the taste should be any different. they are charging the same price either way,and if as the sellers are saying "we are a stop smoking aid sellers" best they get there backsides in gear otherwise the ban may have some justification if its seen that the intent is just to keep people addicted to nicotine. ragjoy.......... The vendors are not permitted to advertise e-cigs as a 'cessation' product. OKS do offer a 'quit kit' for those who have the intention of quitting but that's a matter of customer choice and not the purpose of the company. The main function of an e-cig/EN-I/PV is as an alternative to smoking or as a means to cut down on the thousands of nasties found in a regular cigarette. The consensus is that the e-cig is a 'harm reduction' device.Fox your right foxy i overstated it,but i think you get what i mean, they are implying that they are a cessation device even if they dont state it as such. what im saying is if they dont show willing to produce goods that will get you to quit, then they will find it a lot harder to get licensed. for me i started these as a method of stopping, this may or may not happen,i would like to see conclusive proof as to what effects it has on my health, but appreciate much of it will be speculation as they probably have not been in use long enough. ragjoy.........

No tests have been done on the long-term effects on health of 'vaping' but there have been no reports of anyone, anywhere, being harmed by it either. There are plenty of reports of the hundreds of thousands of deaths and chronic illness caused by smoking though. The speed at which my smokers cough and chest that sounds like an orchestra tuning up have vanished is nothing short of incredible however. I can't believe it will last and quite expect to wake up one morning the way I was before. I don't get puffed out walking upstairs and can walk and cycle long distances without getting leg muscle cramps either. I haven't felt as good as this since I was working with horses 24/7 and was a fit as a butcher's dog despite the fag-habit!! I'm also finding my vaping habits are changing too. I used to reach for a cigarette every time I'd finished one task, before starting another. I always smoked with coffee or tea, now I don't. My PV is always near to hand but I'm picking it up less and less now. The only time I do vape excessively is when using my pass-through on the PC so I don't leave it plugged in now. My intention was never to give up smoking cigarettes when I was given my first e-cig., it was merely to replace the odd one or ten during the day. I now prefer vaping and have no desire to smoke - very strange! My next move is to learn how to produce my own no-nic liquid and cut down on the nicotine intake. I've reduced the strength I'm using regularly to 18mg strength and am happy with that so just need to use no-nic from time to time. I don't feel the same sort of pressure I did when using NRT as GPs are not in the business of keeping nic addicts on the substance for any longer than THEY deem necessary. Fox

I would love to know how you get on, with or without nic, what will you mix it with pg or vg? I use VG because it's easy to get cheaply and in large quanties from the nearby chemist; I use a few drops of de ionised water to dilute as it's a bit on the gloopy side. I'll let you know how I get on with the FlavourArt if and when it arrives from Italy! Fox

Fox that post is more or less exactly how i feel, apart from i wanted to stop smoking to start with,at the moment i just want to cut down the nicotine and then hopefully remove the addiction and let it be my choice only, not the addiction to nicotine. not sure im making sense!!!!!!!!! ragjoy...........

I keep going to flavourart.it, fishing thru the flavours, wondering... then not ordering. I'm very looking forward to hearing how you get on, Foxy, especially with the espresso scylla

Wow Foxy, that postage was expensive!! I've just ordered a couple of their flavours through Liberty Flights. 30ml of flavours including postage was just under £20 so this might be a cheaper option so long as you don't mind it in 5ml bottles. Just a thought. Lynda

I've just received some no-nic juices from Liberty flights, coconut and green tea and some ry4 8mg. I'm not sure that the green tea has much flavour but the combination of all three is a really nice vape. I'm sort of reassured by the fact that it doesn't seem to be the nicotine strength that makes vaping so nice, more the combination of flavours and the production of vapour!!! And can I revise my opinion of the green tea..it has a nice clean flavour all of it's own.. Lynda

So much of what Foxy wrote in post #16 is true for me, too. My habits are changing - yes, I also used to light a cigarette between tasks and give myself a smoke break if the task was lengthy... Now I find I'm going long periods without reaching for the ecig. I've stopped altogether smoking/vaping whilst watching t.v. too. And my health is improving. When I started with the ecig I had a nasty cough and cold; these cleared up almost overnight. I've had long-term problems with leg pains which also seem to be clearing up..... I just wish this thread was titled "Tasty zero mg needed" 'cos every time I log on I see "tasty oh my god needed".......

scylla, Yep, I'm looking for vaping nirvana..lol On the whole I'm enjoying the journey and I think I'm quite addicted to the feel and taste of good vapour rolling round my mouth. Its a bit like eating candyfloss. It seems real for a fleeting moment and then there is nothing to show for it apart from the memory, and that memory makes it worth another go, unless of course I am vaping CV cream....YUCK.. Lynda

Nana, it's brilliant to hear your health is improving so much Same here, though I do still use my e-cig a lot -especially when I'm at the computer, I don't stop for vape breaks half way through doing something. Lynda, I bought a bottle of TW green tea but not got round to trying it yet.

i spent last night on 18mg, today at work i did find myself popping to the motor for a few belts of 36mg more often than i have for a couple of weeks,im assuming this was because i didnt get enough nicotine into me last night, but im going to stick with the 18mg on a night until i run out of 36mg then use 25mg during the day and 18 on a night then step down again,i dont think i will be going to zero for sometime yet. ragjoy............
