Hi Birdy
As Netty said, you will be better off going for something with a better battery and larger capacity.
It's a world of difference from the cheap imitations.
Hope you enjoy your time here.

Will take a look at any suggests - the ecig i have used that looks like a normal cig was ok to a point though some flavour filters were almost unusable because of lack of flavour /hit or just duff examples - smoked mainly tobacco flavour high nicotine - my fav were blueberry, and menthol was pretty good .Do i need a nicotine content to make a difference .

The nicotine content does make a difference Birdy.
It obviously has an effect on your cravings, but also throat hit.
Medium strengths are a good place to start and you can then adjust depending on the results.

Also what would i order as regards liquid as i presume unlike the ecig i have used you need with this type to buy bottles of liquid to add to some cig container - what is the drop down box above nicotine strength referring to ? .Is there a bargain bundle worth a dabble that would give say at least a months supply .

Scylla, After a bit of dithering, I've taken up you suggestion to Birdy, and ordered one of those from the link you provided. Thanks. I can't wait. I'm sucking on nicotine lozenges at the mo 'cos I'm waiting on my juice delivery.

But what did you order as regards liquid and how long would the free/included amount last with average use.- its a bit of a minefield knowing what flavour or nicotine content to go for - as advised i think starting with medium nicotine ,as for flavour who knows i suppose its each to their own .

Hi Birdy, welcome to Allaboute Like the others I would advise something like a Riva 510. As for liquid, I would say have a play aound. There are several good tobacco flavours you can try. I love RY4 and Bensons Fences from James at Paradise vapes. Personally I would go with medium strength as a starting point, that way you can go either up or down if it's not quite hitting the mark. You can buy 5ml bottles which will give you the chance to get a good range and try different flavours.

Hi Birdy, When it comes to flavours and stuff, I'm not overly fussy; I like my nicotine first and foremost. I've got a couple of bottles I've already ordered (Golden Virginia and coconut at high strength), so with the Riva I thought for the free sample I would choose the Green Apple, because I like apples! I think the general advice is not to order large quantities of anything until you find out what you like. But I've only been vaping for one day, only ever used the free samples that came with my starter kit, so I'm far from experienced. Oh, and my 510 starter kit at £27.00 wasn't much cop; though it's okay; but the batteries don't last long at all, and the Riva - from the reviews I've seen and read - say one battery will last all day for a moderately heavy vapour user. So, really, if I'd done my research as you are doing, I'd've saved myself a few quid.

Tosh, you haven't really wasted any money by buying a 510 kit first (though we could have found one a few quid cheaper for you ), as you can use the atties with the Riva. Plus it's always handy to have a spare e-cig (or 2 or 3 ) kicking around.

i am already getting confused (my age ) is the riva / tornado 510 the one to go for even if say £100 was available for some kit ,would extra atomisers be advisable along with a supply of liquids or would i likely go for a higher spec model within a short time .
