I'm thinking of trying carto tanks. I've had a few depressing re-wick/coil incidents recently. Is there a size you would recommend? or even a link? This is a well recommended Carto Tank Djs . . . www.vapegear.co.uk/product/agrI quite like Dual Coil Tanks as well, although every so often you can get a DC that's a bit leaky.

But, it's better than burning money away on the cigs and it's good fun trying out different things.

Could nt agree more on better spending on the shiny things rather than tobacco
Was an added bonus when i realised that learning about vaping helped the stopping smoking by diverting my mind from smoking to learning something new.

Hi Rich, welcome from me too. Lots of good advise ^^^^^ As others have said, you cannot really re-build a carto. You can however buy re-buildable atomisers that use wadding to hold the juice - you can use the stuff that is for aquarium filters (Sera). This is one of the best and is not too difficult to get hold of (not in stock at the moment): www.vapistsvapourizers.co.uk/GP_Spheroid_V2_Rebuildable_Atomizer/p1436124_7875548.aspxI can practically hear you saying how much !! I have had one of these for a fair time, it costs a few pennies for the wick and wire and a small bag of Sera will last for years. I have re-coiled this nearly 20 times now and it is still as good as when I got it and likely to last for a long time to come. I think most people who have tried one would also say that it is noticeably better than a carto I'm not suggesting that you rush out and buy one straight away, but if you do the maths it is well worth considering in the longer run

Do they take regular sized cartos (with holes or punch them yourself)? Any kind of leaking? If they vape like a carto and hold more juice than a mini nova, I'm in!!!!

They come with 2 tubes so you can use either regular or XL cartos that you punch yourself, or you can buy ready punched ones. I have a couple of these. One has been brilliant but one was really leaky. I sent it to Simon and he messed about with it and put new o rings on it and it's now fine

It's that old dilemma Djs . . . stick with what you know works for you, or try something new just incase you might be missing out on something better or different to what you've already got. I keep succumbing despite being perfectly happy with what I've already got. Though my recent ' new ' purchases have been good. Don't know until you try these things.

Hi Update I opted for the Kanger pro tank and just having tried tried it out, it really is amazing the difference from the clearo and carts that came with the Riva. Looks a tad odd on the Riva 1100 battery but hey ho, i can deal with that until im ready to step up thanks for all suggestions
