Help !

I ordered two new clearos along with some more liquid as I knew at the rate I had been tooting the one I got with my starter kit it wouldn't last long and it's now pretty much knackered judging by the colour of the liquid in it. When my order arrived there was only one clearo in the package, ``bugger'' !!, methinks , no problem I will contact them and they will sort it besides I have the one they did send so no panic ..... few days, no replacement, or reply, and try the clearo that did arrive and it didn't seem to work. I have tried it again and I am sure I am getting liquid through the mouthpiece when I suck on it, don't like that idea ! Plan B ! I have some cartos that came with my Riva 1100 kit, watched video on here how to fill it and done that, problem is it seems like I am pulling on a dry sponge, have I not put enough liquid in? And sounds stoopid but I don't need a mouthpiece or anything? just suck on the end of the carto with the spongy end thing on top? Can anyone give me some hints on how to ressurect my clearo or tell me where I am going wrong with my carto Much obliged Mel

You should have got a drip tip with your kit mel, that fits in the end of the carto - much like the "mouthpiece" on your clearo. Did you let the carto 'soak' for any length of time? What sort of clearo did arrive - we may be able to help you get it working properly. Initially, I would say take it totally apart, then screw it all back together properly, but really need to know what it is (link if needed)

You could rinse your used clearo out Mel . . . leave it to dry and refill.
And you'll need to take the white spongy end off your cartomiser and use it with a drip tip.
Have you another battery to try the new clearo on that doesn't seem to be working?

Mel, for starters, where did you order the new clearos from? Re the cartomisers, it does sound like you may need to also drip some juice into the top (mouthpiece) end. You should have got a drip tip with your Riva kit to use with your cartos. Edit - crossed posts

Have you watched the 'carto-filling' videos on Romelee's tutorial? The second video has a drip tip - not sure about the first. If you haven't, this whole tutorial is excellent

Hi Fred, No I forgot the soaking bit lol ah found the drip tip thing and pushed that on the top of the carto, I have a little rubber spike type thing, is that supposed to do something, have tried it with the drip tip on now and still not getting anything altho the carto is getting quite hot The clearo is a CE4, it is now full of juice though, this new one feels like it is bubbling up into the mouthpiece rather than what felt like and sounded like a coffee perculator which produced a vapour, hope that makes sense lol

Just throw the spike type thing away And top up your carto from the mouthpiece end Try blowing through the clearo from the mouthpiece end

Heck few questions there ....
Yes I watched the video tutorial, the soft top one, is that right for the cartos in my Riva Kit? i thought I had got it right after watching that, after I have put the liquid in do you replace the white spongey disc on top or replace it with the mouthpiece which I have now found.
My batterys are still working well with my original clearo so no prob there i dont think

But don't listen to Chrissie when she says throw it away. Don't throw anything away. EG - that silly white piece that is now rubbish, can fix a broken vamo (you will get one in the future - i'm saving for one after only 8 weeks of vaping ) The 'condom' can be used as a 'dustcap' on your drip-tip to stop pocket lint getting in your mouthpiece. All broken/used clearo bits can be used as spares or rebuilt. etc... Build a shed to put all your spare bits in

I was really happy with how the clearo was working for me so decided I would stick with them and keep the cartos for emergencies, so after a disaster with the delivery of new clearos it has suddenly become aforementioned emergency Am going to watch the videos again I think try rinsing the old clearo out tonight and leave to dry overnight My back up plan needs a back up plan .... lesson learnt
