On the ego-usb adaptor description you did see this bit didn't you ? :
"Button on the adapter is not a button the power supply to the atomizer.
A button is a switch mode voltage to the next step."

Yes, you press the bottom on the power supply to fire it.

Great minds etc Des lol. I have one of these just waiting for the USB connector for the atty from Zainy. There are a lot more options with this one and it takes 6 batteries. Very useful device.

The point is, the output of the power pack @5v will be too high for the ego head and burn the circuit out..

The ego head needs a nominal 3.7 v input.

Edit add: Unless it is a new type that steps down from 5v. Nice idea nevertheless..
