Hi Just had a tester of the cherry liquid i made earlier today for my wife, now i realise that its only made today so needs time to steep but one comment from her it never gave her a throat hit. As i understand it higher pg to vg ratio increases the hit or adding vodka to the recipe(seems to be a little debate over the effectiveness of vodka??) Question is...is there any other options for increasing the throat hit of a liquid? Recipe i used was 70/30 pg/vg ( 72 mg nic diluted to 18 mg )with 15% cherry , 3% vodka and two drops of stevia Thanks

Higher nic also increases throat hit. Also a higher voltage/wattage or lower resistance if you have the gear for it. The only other thing that I know of (apart from more PG and vodka) is to change the way you draw. When I want more throat hit I take a long drag of vapour into my mouth then suck it sharply into my lungs. A short sharp drag before the main inhale also helps.

Thanks for the replies ....honey sounds ok Romelee but i dont think she is keen on coconut (Ill check back with her later on) I came across this you tube video when i was googling around for info which kind of hit my funny bone at the end of the vid That said there could be a serious reason NOT to try his suggestion but im still reading up on it.

Hazelnut seems to give me a bit of a throat hit, not that I want it especially nor am suggesting you add it to your Cherry mix Rich, but it might be useful for other recipes.
It's quite a potent flavour so little is needed.

Hi Rosco It definately seems to be going in the right direction but my one concern is the ingredient list (1 % plant extract ) I know one percent is very low but id prefer them to be more open on what the 1 % plant extract actually is (capsaicin seems to be the extract these guys are using for th and i am reading a few comments that long term use could be a real negative...hmm ...like cigarette smoking was nt huh ) Appreciate your suggestion and im definately looking into it cheers

Had nt really thought about that angle perpetua (different primary ingredient having throat hit) It would be quite a good idea to get some other ones that had the same effect Thanks
