Wick & wire is here.. Re-wick with ekowool - success!!

Hi all,

 if I'm boring you all with my constant questions but this is one I can't find an answer to...

I'm about to place an order for a load of wick and wire to keep me going for the forseeable future, but want to make sure that what I'm ordering is suitable for my needs.

Current clearos that will be re-coiled will primarily be Evods and iClear 16s as these will be my daily devices whilst out and about..

I will also be using this little lot to re-coil either a couple of vivi novas or iClear 30s depending on which mod I choose to buy in the near future (Yes, I know... Still undecided!!)

Kanthal 0.20 (10m spool)
Ekowool 2mm (5m) 3mm (3m) 1mm (2m)
Silica 2mm (3m) 3mm (2m)

Does that seem to be a good mixture?

I was going to go for the nichrome but after reading a bit about the two, it seems that the kanthal is likely to give better durability and flavour?

How about trying some of the ribbon kanthal?

If it's your first order I think they give a discount so maybe a roll of the 0.4x0.1 is worth a try.

Now that I'm reading this I've just remembered the order I placed at the weekend should be coming today....

How does the ribbon wire differ Pezz?

It does say "We ship a FREE flat spool of atomizer wire with every order wire order received (1 per order)."

Does that mean I'd get a spool of the ribbon to try anyway?

Yep. I know it was a Bank holiday weekend but I was expecting quicker delivery than this.

Same here, have you checked your order on their site? as they don't seem to send you an email to say it's been dispatched. mine was dispatched yesterday, so i'm assuming it'll come tomorrow

Just checked now and saying shipped yesterday. Seeing as Warrington is only 20 miles away from me I could have walked there and picked it up quicker 

 Talking of emails, the only one I received about this order was a recipt of payment from paypal, nothing from the company themselves.

Seems fine......I tend to use 2mm wick & 0.20mm kanthal for everything.

I dont see the need for the 3mm Silica get some I mm and then you have a mix and match of I, 2 and 3 mm, just a thought:)

10m 0.3 kanthal ribbon

15% discount, and two lots of 5 for the price of 4 on the wick material.

Also ordered a multimeter and a pair of snips from ebay..
