I think again it comes down to personal choice. Some people just don't want a phone that big.
While I think the iPhone 5 could do with being a touch wider, I think the nexus 4 could do with being a shade smaller. For my personal preference anyway.
Lol. Lord, I remember my first ever phone. Never even had predictive text!

I also think if my wife can use an S3 fine with one hand I'm quite surprised anyone can find an S3 too big (I can understand why some might find the Note too big though.) I'm with you mate, not having to squint or pinch and zoom is a right pain in the arse, bring back the 1 inch screen i say

My personal reason for not owning an iphone wouldn't be down to the OS, it's purely because of the size of the screen and the fact they seem to break easily, i reckon 80% of people i see with iphones have cracked or smashed them.

I'm using the nexus now. I find it too big. I like the size of the iPhone. Screen could do with being a little wider but I do prefer the form factor.
I can day in all honesty my iPhone had never broken. Thank God. But they do seem very easily breakable.
I'm still torn. Android seems a lot fiddler. Seems a few note clicks needed to do things.
I guess I'm just not as impressed as I thought I'd be. Do live typing on is much more than the iPhone. So much easier because of more screen space. Which makes it bigger and brings it back to it being a tad too big for my personal taste.
Its little things I need to get used to as well. I'm typing this and got a call. Finished the call and instead of bringing me back to this screen like the iPhone would. It goes yo the call log. So I have to close that and open this again.
Pros and cons to both. This is quicker. Apps are cheaper. Etc.

My first phone you could only use in Train Stations and a very few other area's in London. VERY early femtocell technology that is being used again in WiFi hubs, and is infact the future of mobile data.
