Vamo question

Just received vamp from fast tech

Took my 18650 battery out my lavatube but it won't work in the vamo?

Any ideas, or am I being thick?

theres been a whole boat load of threads on certain batts not working
what battery is it your trying to use ???

Have you tried the rapid 5 button press. does the light flash when installing the batt and you might have to stretch the spring in the bottom cap.

It's an 18650 battery but it doesn't have a nipple just 4 little dots on the end

It flashed when I put it in but screw it up and then nothing

My vamo is fussier than my LT about minimum charge and atty resistance

try rapid fire 5 button press to turn it on after installing battery, sometimes 6 or 7 is needed. when I say rapid, I mean faster than the speed of light.

Other than that I cannot help, I'm to thick

Is it a protected battery don't think they will work in a vamo

Out of interest when did you order your vamo?

It works!

But is turning off after 1 toot but the battery was getting low!

I ordered last Thursday so didn't take as long as I thought

I have seen that said before but had no difficulties at all with protected batteries ???

EDIT.................The only thing I can think of is that there is an extra wrap of clear plastic on protected ones which make the battery a bit thicker so they are a better fit, but could be a tighter fit as well.

Need a couple more batteries anyway as the one I have is second hand, are the torchy ones on eBay any good?
