So I have been loving my new flavours. One in particular: Mint Candy - it tastes just like Christmas candy canes. And I've been using it rather a lot.
The last couple of nights I've had a series of weird and vivid dreams ??? like, not bad ones, or good ones, just weird, and when I wake up I can remember them all clearly.
A couple of friends have said they had this when they used nicotine patches.
Am I overdoing it? I was a moderate smoker (about 15 a day) of skinny rollies. Maybe I am actually giving myself a higher dose of nicotine now than when I smoked? The juices I've bought are all 12mg or lower.
Any thoughts?

If you were overdosing on nicotine you'd notice it during the day - headaches, palpitations, sweats. What is more likely is that your body is reacting to the removal of the 4000 chemicals in cigarette smoke. Many of these affected brain chemistry, including dopamine production and you're now not getting them.

I remember when I gave up smoking the last time, I'd have incredibly vivid dreams of having a cigarette and wake up feeling really guilty! Could just be your body reacting to the lack of 4000 chemicals, it can cause all sorts of side effects. Give it a week and see what happens, 12mg is not particularly high nic

Vivid dreams, for me at least, happen mostly during withdrawal rather than overdose, I can relate the same to a couple of medication regimens that I've had to follow in the past. It sounds like your nic level might actually be too low, because, if it were higher, you would probably vape less regardless of flavour, your mind listens to your body and vice versa.

Got to agree with Skwoddy, the only time I had anything like this was many many years ago when I tried to give up using patches. When I got to the final week out of 4 & down to the 5mg patch . . . they were more like night terrors, bad enough to wake me with a racing heart wondering what the hell was going on.

Very interesting and makes sense - I hadn't even considered it from that angle, wow.

People I've spoken to who have been on Champix have said they got really vivid dreams on that, so it does sound like a withdrawal thing. I haven't had any vivid dreams myself but I wouldn't mind too much (Especially if Keanu Reeves featured) ;-)

I had some AMAZING vivid dreams when I tried nicotine patches. In fact I am tempted to go back on them just to have the dreams again!

"weird and vivid dreams" None of the above, it's just your Inner Self, making contact. Listen to your dreams. (looked for an appropriate smiley, non available)
