I agree. I started on Skycigs and they were good at first - they got me off the cigs which is what I wanted - but it soon became obvious that the refills were expensive and didn't last nearly as long as they claimed. I really enjoyed the vanilla and cinnamon flavours but I found I needed to start a new cartridge every evening, to get one good evening and then spend the next day trying to eke it out before I could let myself start a new one. The final straw was when two out of five of the cinnamon carts I ordered were duds! That's when I happened to read an article about "vaping", did a bit of Googling and ended up here

Vivid dreams, for me at least, happen mostly during withdrawal rather than overdose, I can relate the same to a couple of medication regimens that I've had to follow in the past. It sounds like your nic level might actually be too low, because, if it were higher, you would probably vape less regardless of flavour, your mind listens to your body and vice versa. Very interesting and makes sense - I hadn't even considered it from that angle, wow.

So I have been loving my new flavours. One in particular: Mint Candy - it tastes just like Christmas candy canes. And I've been using it rather a lot.
The last couple of nights I've had a series of weird and vivid dreams ??? like, not bad ones, or good ones, just weird, and when I wake up I can remember them all clearly.
A couple of friends have said they had this when they used nicotine patches.
Am I overdoing it? I was a moderate smoker (about 15 a day) of skinny rollies. Maybe I am actually giving myself a higher dose of nicotine now than when I smoked? The juices I've bought are all 12mg or lower.
Any thoughts?

You are doing great, you mustn't beat yourself up. Quitting smoking is a psychological thing as much as (or even more than) a physical one. I was desperate to stop, and within 24 hours of trying my first e-cig I chucked all smoking paraphernalia with JOY I still feel great every time I go in a shop and don't have to bankrupt myself on horrible stinky tobacco. And I can put my hand on my heart and say that even if all my vaping stuff disappeared tomorrow, I wouldn't go back to smoking. But this will be different for everyone. You've cut down loads and that is brilliant. As for the noises, I am still a novice at all this, and it is a learning curve. I've had two clearos that made a satisfying hiss / percolator noise, and now one that is very quiet. I thought it was faulty at first but I am getting plenty of taste and vapour and the level of juice is going down, so I guess it's fine! I washed one out and it didn't work after ??? but maybe it just hadn't dried out properly? I'll try it again, it's been sitting disassembled for a few days.

Hi, your Skycig wall charger will be fine. I have the kit you've ordered and I use the Skycig wall charger. 2 kits is a good idea. I bought one and it was so good I quickly ordered another as backup

I must be a weirdo then. Me too. I have only been quit for three weeks, but I would never go back to tobacco. I'd wanted desperately to quit for ages, but somehow I just couldn't. When I received my first e-cig it was like suddenly getting permission to stop smoking and leave the awful things behind me. I haven't missed them one little bit, and far prefer vaping. The psychology of smoking is really complicated IMO and varies from person to person. If e-cigs ceased to exist tomorrow, I'd be gutted, but I still wouldn't go back to real cigs. Never again

Great news !! Glad the kit does the job, and now begins the thoroughly pleasant task of trying loads of liquids and find ones that you like. Once you've done that, if you are so inclined, you can then begin to mix your own juice at a fraction of the cost and try to replicate your favourite flavours and experiment with new ones. That's when the fun really starts! Andy Have already got 6 x 10ml bottles and have just ordered another one This was supposed to SAVE me money Maybe a silly question, but do I need to clean the bit (clearomiser?) that the liquid goes in whenever I change flavours? I presume I will have to if it's a very strong one?

Well, my new bank card just arrived right after my last reply Have ordered the little blister pack as recommended by roscopecotrain (thank you!), can't go wrong at that price - if nothing else it'll tide me over till payday, and is far cheaper than buying endless Skycig cartridges. Am sure I will be back on here - lovely friendly forum! Ana, I hope you bought some e-liquid as well? I did, yes. Only one 10ml bottle though. Somebody linked to another site on another thread I was reading (Alchemist something) that had loads of liquids I wanted to try, so I'm going to order a sampler pack from there too

anathemadeviceThe Paradise Vape deal that Roscopecotrain linked to looks very good to me. If you've got a wall plug that takes a usb plug for a knidle or iphone (or anything else probably) it will work. We have wall / USB adaptors that came with the Skycigs, so should be fine! Thanks all this is so helpful

Fiddles, I think the issue with PP is because my card which I use through Paypal is due to expire next month. It won't accept the card any longer (even though card is still in date and works everywhere else). As I don't use credit and only have the one debit card, I think I will just need to wait till my replacement comes through the post and then link that one. Sorry to hear about your troubles with Paypal, it's not the first time I've heard of these sorts of shenanigans on their part Anyway, I'm looking at the kit from Vapeland - it seems very good value. The blurb says this: "PLEASE NOTE!! When you receive your kit, please unscrew all parts of the CE5 and make sure everything is screwed in tight before filling with liquid, especially the head within the clearomizer, to prevent any initial leaks and to prolong the life of the clearomizer." - I probably sound a right dafty, but is this easy to do?
