Hi guys
Looking for a solution to this problem, when I go out for a few drinks I have to have my e-cig in my jean pocket with other stuff like wallet, phone etc anyway it always ends up leaking and is a massive reason why I am rarely using them anymore and still smoking (plus the fact they seem to suddenly start tasting like s*** now and again for no reason)
anyway I have EGO-T and vision v rebuildable from vape escape as reccomended by a few people, is there something to do or will I need to spend even more money on something better ?
cheers

I use a belt torch holder to hold my ecig in social situations, as you've found, putting it in your pocket just doesn't work.

I have used my Vision 1000 Kit from Vape Escape ever since I started.
I wear it all day everyday on a Lanyard and it has never leaked.
Yes, it sometimes gets tangled in the dog when he jumps up on me and yes, occasionally when I bend over something it gets caught on whatever I am bending over, but it is always there ready for use and especially when I am driving, it is dead handy.
A lanyard is the way to go.

You've obviously checked all was tightened up??? Can you suss out where it's leaking from?? tip, base, tank?? Does it leak all the time? My workmate bought a Vision V3 and that leaked, he's new to vaping, so i had a look at it, it was leaking from tip, dodgy threads, so i gave him a new tip and it was sorted, no leaks. Or, sometimes there are hairline cracks in the tank which you can barely see, sometimes it's dodgy seals or threads?? I've had loads of clearos and never had a leaker, and i've had mine loose in my handbag, in a skirt or jeans pocket, suppose i'm lucky.

Sounds like a bad clearo to me - maybe faulty manufacture, maybe it got knocked too hard. I'd keep it for using at home and buy another for going out with. Maybe an EVOD or mini nova, which you might find to be a better vape. You could put it in a plastic bag until you trust it.
I don't think there's any 100% safe clearo, but I've been keeping them in my pocket for months now and only got juice in the pocket once. Otherwise, its cartomisers.

Forgot the tasting like s*** thing.
There'll be a reason. I guess with cartos its usually because the juice is burning or the wick is dry. Some of them need to be waved about a bit if they've been left still for a while, to let the juice travel up the wick. Another thing that can cause burning is a long hard draw.

I have never thought it wise to carry a clearo in a jeans pocket, mainly because it puts strain on the joint between clearo and battery. A friend of mine keeps his in his front jeans pocket and is always having problems. I think in this case a lanyard is the way to go. As far as the yucky taste, do you clean it out regularly? A weekly clean after disassembly would do wonders. The juice may also be getting affected by the nasties around the coil. Andy

You could use a cigar tube to put the battery and clearomizer in so it doesn't leak directly in yir pocket.
I do this when at work and it holds up well to bumps and drops.
