Its a cracking article and well balanced in my opinion. I like how ASH continue to say they aren't regulated, or is that the papers sound bites they have picked. Who knows but probably the most researched piece I have seen the press release.

Although e-cigarettes are legally allowed to be sold to children, some secondary schools have banned their use.
Who allows that?

Great article
I also noticed this
SOME secondary schools have banned their use. ALL secondary schools should ban them AT school. Off site.....rather that than 20 Benson's. ???

Hold on is that right? Not for E-lites, obviously , but even using prefilled and minis (skycig, nicolites, 10 motives) ought to be better than 20% saving.

It's also funny how those companies claim to save up to 80%..... Or is that a typo and meant to say at 20% of the cost? Which would then be 80% saving.

A generally positive article. We are still seeing e cigs described as a form of NRT, a purpose for which they are not intended. As for E-lites, don`t get me started. Their advertising slogan ought to be "Smokers, do you feel the need to pay more for your nicotine?" I know it is early days, but we need to educate people about affordable vaping. This business of e cigs in schools is not IMO quite so straight forward as it appears. There is no way we want to recruit new nicotine addicts. The thing that worries me, is what about those kids who are already addicted to cigs. They can go to the stop smoking clinic, and get patches, gum and other stuff that does not work. So I need to ask the question. Can we morally deny them the one thing that does work? Should we ban cans of soft drinks at school? After all, they "look like" cans of beer. There are as always more questions than answers.

This was in the paper today - quite a reasonable balance article I thought. Like much of the press coverage though they still seem to think that e-cigs are cig-alikes. I suppose that is the mass market to be fair.
