Youv'e gotta laugh Fred hahahahaha It's either that or cry - and crying would probably dilute the juice Maybe ECCA, our consumer association, could help out with this? womble matt1988It would appear they are selling substandard gear and don't even know how it works. What juice???

I have yes some caramel marshmallow from Health e vape. I am using a caramel one now in my Riva but it's too strong. I'm going to get some VG and dilute it. I also have a coffee juice thats the same strength so will probably need to dilute that too. It seems 18mgs nic is too strong for me and the throat hit is mad haha

I have some skycig cartomisers that I want to refill. I don't know if they ever worked correctly or not because at the time over a year ago, I didn't buy it to stop smoking, I bought it to take on holiday as the previous year I got stuck in a non smoking section of an airport for 9 hours which nearly killed me. Anyhow since then they all got puffed by myself and friends on the odd occasion. I have seen 3 videos on here. One says take the mouthpiece bit out and drip liquid onto the wadding. That seems straight forward enough only how much liquid? The second says fill the condom ( strange name for it ) and slowly put the cartomiser in to the liquid THREAD first. The third says do the same thing but MOUTHPIECE first.
Is this correct? You can stick either end in?

Either re-fill using the condom method sammy13 or top up frequently, avoiding the centre tube

It seems 18mgs nic is too strong for me and the throat hit is mad haha The VG is in the Cough Remedy section of Boots Susie . . . you'll dilute your flavour a bit don't forget, so don't go too mad with it. The alternative is to get a lower strength, in the same flavour and mix the two together to reduce the overall nicotine strength, without losing any of the taste. I have some skycig cartomisers that I want to refill. I always fill a carto from the mouthpiece end but that's just my preference, until the wadding looks well moistened.

I'm curious now. If you drip the liquid in you have to avoid the centre tube. If you fill it from the condom doesn't that go into the centre tube?
What do you do if it goes in the centre tube?

Haven't read the whole thread but when I started out with skycig I very quickly bought some boge cartos and different juices and DIY'd it. Then I realised their batteries were pants and upgraded. That said if it hadn't been for them I would have been back on the smokes.

What do you do if it goes in the centre tube?Hold a tissue over the end and blow through. I use the condom method for the first fill to make sure the carto is really wet. then I top up frequently from the top. If you hold it at an angle, when topping up, you probably won't get any juice into the centre hole. If you do then follow the above advice

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, susie would have to raise a support ticket with ECCA, she doesn't have to want to follow this through with action, but it will help ECCA in the future in case we have any further problems with a vendor. I don't know where the support ticket thing is atm, I'm finding out.

wombleHere's the link to Raise an ECCA ticketsusieshoes - please do raise a ticket with ECCA - they will help you pummel Skycigs into dust (well, maybe not quite), but they certainly may help you to get some sort of refund. The consumer association is, as I understand, there to "go into bat" for us in cases like this. Help them to help us by raising a ticket. Some folk are still sceptical about ECCA, if they can help you with this, it would surely improve their rating/reputation
