Vamo arrived, RSST problem

The vamo arrived about half an hour ago. I've changed it to RMS mode. My evod is working well on it, but the protank tastes burnt and the RSST is too harsh.

I think the protank probably just needs coiling better but the RSST I'm not sure about, the flavour is coming through alright but it's really harsh, it's just making me cough, whatever wattage it's at.

Any ideas? I've heard about increasing the size of the airhole but would that actually make THAT much difference?

The airhole shouldn't make a difference to the flavour, it must have a hotspot.

The vamo is just a battery, shouldn't affect the flavour in any way.

It's the same on an ego. Doesn't look like there's any hotspots.

Also i plugged in the nitecore intellicharger, and it's making a humming noise, is that normal?

The RSST must be set up incorrectly in some way, is it new? Have you washed it before use?

My intellicharger is silent (It's an i2).
I'd say that either yours has a fan and mine doesn't (or it isn't working) or something is wrong. Loose connection?

Have you got the vamo set on no2 and not no1?

it's set to no2. The rsst was coiled my Markm, and looks to be fine.

The cahrger sound is sort of a cross between static and air escaping

Strange on tge charger. Mine is silent as well. What battery have you been using up till now? As in before the vamo.

You say the RSST tastes strange on the Ego as well? How is it on other devices?

I've tried the rsst on an ego before and it was harsh on that as well. Not tried it on anything else, received the charger with the vamo, I've only used egos before now.

Out of curiosity, what strength are you vaping?

And is it only on the RSST that it's a wrong un?

And come to think of it... what resistance is the vamo saying the coil on the RSST is?

My guess is then that the rsst gives a lot more throat hit qnd vapour than an ce4 which will make it feel harsh and then the vamo gives off a lot more power than an ego making your vape feel harsh compared to your ego battery. I could be wrong mind but i went from an ego to vamo and the differ3nce was huge. As for the charger im not sure. Is it the i4 you have? Will check mine when im home.
