RECIPE THREAD

Hi peeps, I'm new to mixing but I have an idea which I don't know could be implemented, but it would be really helpful if it could.

In the recipe section there are a number of repeated recipes, ie Vanilla Custard.

It would be helpful, if people who have tried a recipe could give it a mark out of say 10, and any comments necessary ie re steeping.

At the moment all the recipes are in one thread so its impossible to do.

It would be nice to have a thread per recipe.

Is this possible?

Any thoughts?

i pondered on this but since taste is so subjective, marking the recipes wouldnt work. i tend to adapt a recipe with whatever i have or to my taste
for instance, i made a vanilla custard (sorry, cant remember whose) but added some bavarian cream. its lovely.
it would be great if the recipes could be put into alphabetical order.... maybe??!

I like that idea, but mods would have to insert new recipes in the right place each time new one is posted unless members copy and paste with theirs put in the correct place on the list

What would be mega-brilliant but a proper headache would be something where you can input a few ingredients and then get the recipes you can make with them...

I like the idea of having different threads for different recipes, or at least one sort of 'general area'. Custard would be one thread as it's mega-popular, fruits another, desserts and tobacco two more maybe?

Fruits
Mints and Menthol
Tobacco

That looks like where all my recipes will be going how much sweetener i use

I reckon the only way to achieve this would be a further sub-board (like the current one for flavourings / concentrates).
