Forgive my ignorance but who is/are TW? I spent much of my childhood in Kent - 'TW' meant Tunbridge Wells' I'm assuming it's not 'Disgusted of Tunbridge Wells'.... Totally-Wicked, or They Who Shall Not Be Named ... or Voldemort

Totally Wicked are a large ECIG business who also franchise. They fell out with another UK vape forum and tried to get them shut down. Was just before I started vaping so don't know the intricacies of it.

I know nothing of mixing my own, not even where to get nic base! I'll just keep buying bottles of premixed and storing them.
It really just smacks of "let's tax it, it's worth money!". We've all kicked the ciggies, no longer a drain on nhs funds, but they still can't leave us alone. Truly gutted!

Nicotine is already classed as a medicinal product in Denmark, but so are vitamins. Basic food products with added vitamins can't be sold here. There are a few loop holes, but a lot of things are illegal to sell, including (as previously/mournfully stated) marmite (they add b vitamins) Yet I can buy vitamin supplements over the counter.... Effectively the ban on nicotine e liquid was in place long before the first cave man rubbed 2 sticks together and dripped some pg onto them. I admit that there is nothing the danes like more, than irritating and pointless rules, but it does show that it can be done, because it has been done.

Yet I can buy vitamin supplements over the counter.... If i were you i wouldnt buy ANY Vitamin over the counter. For Example the press has been inundated with stories about Vitamin D.In tests,OTC Vit D can vary from between 0% to 750% of the labelled amount of Vit D.Vit D is actually a STEROIDICAL HORMONE!There are Dr's out there injecting massive doses of VitD into patients in UK.There is NO liscensed Injectable Vit D available in UK that has been passed by the MHRA!!!!!There is only ONE prescribable Oral Vit D available in UK!How do i know this?Cos i am a Drugs Rep and sell the damn stuff, and NO i dont side with either NICE or the MHRA.I personally feel that these institutions are not Objective or IMPARTIAL when it comes to certain Drug Companies and Organisations such as the Tobacco and drinks Industry!!

Nice one from the Institute of Economic Affairs "“The MHRA's decision will stifle innovation, raise prices and lead to a black market in potentially lethal nicotine fluids amongst existing e-cigarette users. In the short term, e-cigarettes will have to be taken off the market, potentially for years and possibly forever. In the meantime, most of the UK's one million e-cigarette users will return to smoking cigarettes. The only winners will be the tobacco industry and the pharmaceutical industry.” www.iea.org.uk/in-the-media/press-release/iea-criticises-mhra-decision-to-regulate-e-cigarettes-as-medical-products

I mentioned that in another thread, but couldn't remember where I read it. It's a good article, but they got their facts in a twist, with the paragraph you quoted, these won't be taken off the market until 2016. But even then we know there are some products 6-12 months away from being medicinalised.
