Vaping Nettles for Hayfever Relief

Still persisting with the Nettles - and even with the higher Pollen Count - still working and without a hint of Bronchitis thus far (Fourth week).

With prescribed anti-histamines i'd be starting to get the tell tale signs by now - still know by the end of July

I should be knocking a test unit together some time this week. All the components have arrived at least, just need to get them assembled and start some testing.

Alas my usage will be limited as I'm on rather a mix of medications for depression and other issues and can't risk inhaling as such, but should be able to see if my theory works out.

Had a couple of days of non-Vaping the Nettles - and Hayfever back to its normal dribbly sneezy-ness - so back to the Vaping tomorrow to see if it still works

And the Puffit and Nettles - work once more

So far as the pollen increased so has me 'dosage' - from the initial 3 hits - now up to 4
And from 3-4 times a day now 5-6 - but manageable and nose and chest feel clear too.

So result for Nettles - still waiting to see if i get the antihistamine Bronchitis

As the Pollen counts got higher - i've started exhaling through me nose - this seems to add 'protection' and has kept the effectiveness of Vaping Nettles as good if not better then anything else i've tried - ever!

Using a fresh load every 2-3 sessions and 4-5 hits per session - and about 6 sessions a day has been working well.

I look for my precursors to a Hayfever attack - usually for me, i'll notice the top of my mouth feel itchy and then my eyes, before a sneezing fit. As long as i notice the mouth and eyes and have a Vaping session - no sneezing fits - although i may need to blow me nose a few times

I've been following this thread hoping someone will give us a recipe for a nettle juice (I don't fancy dry herb vaping or tea).

Has anyone tried it?

Nobody seems to have tried making a nettle ejuice, so I did.

It took a lot of vodka, some of which went into making the juice.

Well my Hayfever season is almost over - yesterday was my first 'Nettle' free day since June

I can report a vast decrease in symptoms - a good management system in Vaping Nettles - cheap enough using Nettle tea bags - using fresh dried Nettles (picked in the Spring and away from Pollution) basically free (if thee already have the Vapouriser).

No Bronchitis - something i always would get taking prescribed Antihistamines.

All in all - Vaping Nettles worked for me and my Hayfever - not sure what specifically i'm allergic too but hope that this thread has helped others too - and raised the awareness with the Herbalist community too!

As it's that Hayfever time again - i thought i'd update the thread
Almost 6 years later - and the nettle vape is still working fine (me Ma lives in rural Ireland and so picking the Nettles there are near as damn it organic (rubber gloves recommended) 9 early spring (now is OK though) and hanging them to dry can keep me going (for free) for the whole summer.
This time of year, i found that vaping a bowl in the morning - then after lunch, after dinner and before bed - was enough to keep all but the odd snuffle at bay.
Height of the season - vapng as and when required again worked effectively - for me.
Minimised symptomes at worsed - and zero Bronchitis.

Currently living and teaching English in China though - and don't get any symptoms of hayfever here at all - but if i head home in July - the Vape and Nettles has worked :love:
