Hey people .... Spent all day researching and reading forums ... I think I'm more confused now than before I started !!
im hoping you guys can point me in the right direction
this is me ...
smoke 30-40 fags .... Bensons ....... Just gotta stop
bought sky cig kit and have been driven to distraction by poor batteries and cartomisers not lasting long enough..
Im now beyond the need to have something that looks like a cigarette and want to get into serious vaping.
i want a kit that has at least 2 big batteries and I can refill with my own choice of juice.
i don't mind a bit of DIY rebuilding... I've watched the tutorial vids... But not too much of a pfaff !
And obviously I want to spend as little as possible but without buying crap I have to replace in 2 weeks time ....
your suggestions are welcom please

Welcome to you Spikus. It does get a bit mind boggling the more you read with all that's available right now, once you get into vaping a little more it does all become clearer though. And, any questions then just ask away. If you don't mind tackling a spot of rebuilding there are loads of options available, there is also this Evod starter kit: www.vapeescape.co.uk/Deluxe-Vaping-Kits/EVOD-650/EVOD-650-Kit.htmlThe clearomisers come with replaceable heads that you can either buy premade or have a go at wicking/coiling yourself. Or you might like to get one as they are available separately to use with the batteries that Blue and Giles have linked to.

Hello & welcome Spikus I agree with all the suggestions that have been made And Giles is right, your Skycig does have what is known as a 510 thread & the cartomisers you have can be refilled with e-liquid several times, & they will fit on any of the above kits that have been linked to

Not a bad idea fiddles, would be a stretch for some though, plus if you jump straight into stuff like this are you going to appreciate how good it is?

I'm not too sure if it is a good idea to recommend new users to buy from Fasttech or any other Chinese Vendors Apart from the waiting time (most newbies want to get up & running a.s.a.p.), they just wont get the same help & support as they would from a good UK vendor. Plus if the items they bought had a fault, or they were sent the wrong items, it could put someone new to e-cigs, off them for ever, as they would have to send them back to China for replacement or refund

I gave Honest opinion to try get best value for money/ quality of device for user why shell out twice ? I and many others have used fasttech as you Know and service/reliability IMHO is as good as UK vendors but yes you have to wait longer and if prob is lot longer to sort out from Chinese vendors but savings made make it worth it.

Price is no more than, infact cheaper than a lot of solutions plus I think I should learn from others mistakes (ie start small then upgrade). For me it was better to empty wallet (thanks robby) look how long I been vaping and what I got already (browse forum ) I spent out as extra incentive, when I got urge for ciggy I thought no way look what you already spent on this vaping lark don't do it... Plus I think if I had gone back to smoking the mrs would neuter me for wasting so much dosh. plus I don't agree you have to eat mince to realise how good steak is

fiddles I wasn't assuming they are new to online shopping It just can be a long wait for someone that's "been driven to distraction by poor batteries and cartomisers not lasting long enough"
