Evic - What does the top cappy thing do? Is the software feature useful? Can I purplise it? Top cap makes all 22mm tanks looks extra special, or you can use the standard one for protanks etc.......all Evods fit without any problems, i ain't come across a device that don't work with it. I myself leave the flat top cap on no matter what device on top i am using as i think it looks much better....see piccy above This is just one of the options the software can do: allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/thread/23306/evic-rvw-blissIt's the way forward imo. Plus we don't know what other updates/goodies will be coming with the software, that's what else i like about the eVic it's not just a battery it can do things others can't. As for purple who know's, stuff coming out all the time for the eVic

My iTaste is REALLY touchy about when it does and does not want to work with Evods I think if I end up going for the Evic, it will be only under the strict condition that I make you my Evic Buddy, Super-Shiny, so you can hold my hand through all the scary software stuff (and teach me to rewick Evods while you're at it)

Jen the Provari is Variable voltage but not Variable Wattage. It shows battery capacity and attie ohms (or something) It vapes well and is consistent. The V1 Provari that I bought 3rd hand from the classies here is still going strong. you can tell it's been well used as the Provari wording on it is starting to fade and it must be at least 2 years old if not going on for 3. I wonder how many evics will last as long?

Which is what I do with my Evods. If you think the techy Evic facilities will be for you then that's great. They're not for me and I've never been tempted with one . . . the Smoktech Sid is something I'd seriously consider though in your position.

No battery display It's between the Evic and the SID then...I do quite fancy fiddling with the techy Evic, if nothing else it'll make hubby dead jealous But then the SID is totally prettier...gah!

Ah really. I think the evic is far better in the looks department. Techy bit is good and i love the way you can customize the screen to what you want showing. Sent from my Galaxy Note 2

Good finds Super-Shiny, do you know if there's a UK vendor? I think I'm leaning towards the Evic...the display does look snazzy

Good finds Super-Shiny, do you know if there's a UK vendor? For wraps or tubes? If it's wraps then only US only as far as i am aware, there is vinyl you can buy from ebay and cut down yourself but imo best the let the professionals do it. If it's the various colored tubes then vaperus is the only place i have seen them, i mailed mark at vaperus and put the product on email notify and a week later my tube came in (the ego-t 18350 black one) If it's the genuine eVic 18650 colored tubes (White/Black/Chrome) then sadie @ ukecigcabin does them but it's still closed until Friday. It seems vendors in Ireland have the most eVic gear out there unless you buy from here but more expensive : www.joyetech.co.uk/evic
