The only other thing I can think of is a bit of swarf in the 510 connector

Maybe worth having a clean around the inside of the 510 connector with a cotton bud and some alcohol inside the arrowed area. Could be a bit of swarf in there, worth a try

Yeah It's spring loaded. I've taken the battery out and I'm leaving it alone overnight in the hope the magic ecig pixies will come in the night and fiddle with it for me lol.

Ok, I seem to have figured it out. It's a temperamental bugger If it gets even the tiniest amount of moisture on the 510 connector it has a tizzy fit and shows that there is a short. You then have to remove the battery to reset the device before it will work again. Yeah i'm ordering a Vamo in a few days, I can see me getting really with this thing.

Strange, when looking for fixes on the problem last night, I didn`t see any mention of a similar problem. Having said that, there aren`t that many out there yet.

I'm going to give it a day or two and see how I get on with it but if it carries on like this it's getting sent back. I tried googling last night too robby but I just kept getting review vids and links to wholesalers. Like you say, not many of them out there at the moment. I'm defo getting a V3 Vamo though lol.

Hi collie2011Now that you say it had some juice on the centre pin which you cleaned and it worked "yipee". I strongly suggest that you place it HEAD down onto a radiator or in the airing cupboard, so that the heat will drag any remaining juice to come out, that you can clean out. Only downside to this, is you can`t use it for a few days. Good luck. jeffc

Hifistud was having a quick look at one last night on VTTV and next Tuesday Vaper Scene will apparently doing a review.
Knowing the muckiness that is Hifi, he will soon have moisture in the 510 connector and we'll see if it has the same problem.
