What's the generally used number of drops per ml?
I've seen it listed as 20 per ml and 30 per ml in various places and the ejuicemeup calculator says 20 but, seeing as you guys know what you're talking about and are the experts, I though I'd better ask.
I'm not a chemist but I've just done a couple of tests with water and it came out at 20 drops and then 25 drops per ml from the same pipette. lol probably fat finger syndrome! I know that PG and VG are more viscous than water so what figure should I be looking at using?
Or is it just a matter of try it and see for myself what works?

30 seems to be flavour of the month, but it really does vary on viscosity and mainly the size of the 'nozzle' on whatever you are dropping out of. I only use drops for small flavour adjustments, mls are better for the main mix.

Thanks roger I'm new to this lark so I'm making small amounts for a start so thought that I should use drops rather than go all out and make a whole load of something I hate. Off to have some lunch then a play around with my new toys. An yep, I agree, size does matter

30 is what I've always worked on as Roger has said Jingle . . . Rom went as far to put it to the test with some eliquid and confirmed. You can also change and save the EJMU default drop setting if you like, I just change it each time I do a mix though.

"gtt means a drop. Generally speaking, there are about 20 drops in 1 mL, which would mean that one drop is 1/20 of a mL or 0.05 mL. "
I also try to get my ingredients out of the fridge a few hours before mixing so everything is at room temp.
have fun I

Well I took the plunge and worked on 30 drops/ml. I was very tempted to take the middle road and work on 25 but thought that was a bit wimpy Anyway, a bit over-vaped at the mo cos I've just had 5 mins with a cuppa so I may do a sneaky taste test a bit later. Updates will be forthcoming
