Adventures in vaping land !..... Week one

So guys ... Thought I'd update you with my first weeks vaping experience .....

joined forum on Saturday ... Got good advice ... Went for aRiva delux kit ... Started vaping Tuesday  ( I don't count the wasted Skycigs weeks )

all going swimmingly until Sunday .... Got called into work ... Mega rush ... Forgot to take spare batt and charger ... 3 hours in ... Batts running out !! OMG ... Disaster !! 

Found old Skycigs USB charger ... Obviously over tightened ... Only battery screwed !!! ARGH !!! 

Tried lifting centre pin ... Tried everything ... Even removed centre pin... It was at this point that I decided to clean innards of battery ... Obvious disaster !!!


Bottom line ... Got stuck at work ... Battery ruined ... Spare at home ... Bought a packet of stinkies ( yes I'm ashamed of myself )


But from every disaster there rises some hope .....

Next day ... And 20 fags later ....

Bought a new shiny stainless 1100 amp Batt and an evod for good luck !!! Looks cool 

today if just ordered a few sample juices and a nice stainless 1100 VV 

no desire to smoke anymore stinkies .... Vaping seriously and loving it 

thought I'd share this with you guys because its confirmed to me that although I am still an addict ... Vaping is a credible more enjoyable, cheaper and more convenient alternative ..... You've just gotta give yourself a fighting chance

I think the skycigs charger is reverse polarity. If it is, it probably means your other battery may not be borked

Hi spikus. Well done back on track, off the `stinkies`.

Who on earth told you it was cheaper than `smoking` tobacco, it is once you have acquired the required number of mods, batteries and juice, this normally takes between 3-10 weeks depending how deep your pockets are.

Then once you find your `happy vape`, you will be a. healthier, b. wealthier. c. won`t stink like an ashtray.

You are at the right place for advice : Advice no1. Spares, spares,spares, got it.

Keep up the good work, were all `rooting `(cheering), for you.

good on you for getting back to the vaping after your disaster, i did exactly the same as you spikus on our first time out drinking after starting vaping, i'd been in the pub about 10 mins & as its vape friendly i took a puff & the battery died on me but rather than buy a packet of stinkies i got a taxi home, picked up my spare battery & went back to the pub
I made sure i was never in same predicament again after that happened, i bought another battery to keep in my bag for emergencys.

Same thing happened to me, battery broke, no spare, bought stinkies. Like you I felt ashamed but I think we are wrong to. Like you it affirmed the fact stinkies are no longer for me, tasted dreadful!

So glad you're back on track, and like you say the silver lining is it removed any thought that vaping is okbut stinkies are much better, as we learned, they really are not.

Good to hear that you are back on track. Never had a Riva battery give up on me....touch wood, probably cos I've ALWAYS got 2 batteries with me

Sod it....just ordered ANOTHER Riva 1100 (just incase) from Vapescape.........you never know......

Haha Baz ... Better safe than sorry.... When my new spinner arrives tomorrow that will be 3 1100 batteries.... That should do it until the next bout of shinyitis !

Got my new Vision 1300ma spinner today ... Cranked it up ... What a difference !!

Loving the Grizwalds strawberry ice cream juice too !

No desire for stinkies whatsoever

Brilliant.

I love the spinner too. I have noticed I pump it up when vaping tobacco flavour, but prefer it back on the 3 range when having my cherry menthol, improves the taste. The spinners are a revelation in my book.

Ha-ha Spikus, my Riva arrived today, I bought the whole kit so now I have 4 1100 batteries, 2 usb chargers............................................ O_oI wonder if this is enough O_ocos I took some wire wool to my old Riva they are all stainless steel
